@@makknus Not even near. Final location of squirrel statue is on top of Mt.Shann which is a bit north-west of Strawberry. The robot is on top of a mountain west of Colter(your chapter 1 camp). Pick up the electric lantern in the lab, it's light will turn red when you are facing the robot's location that's how you supposed to find it.

Perhaps a little anectode that touches on the topic of this video (meeting old gang members after the main story): Someone working at Rockstar, I know, told me the following story RDR 3 (though take it with a grain of salt - he may be pulling my leg in order to have some fun by playing on my enthusiasm for the games, he has signed an NDA after all). Anyhow, here it goes: He tells me in the epilogue of RDR 3 Mac Callendar, after escaping from prison, in the first mission of the epilogue, which starts about six months after the downfall of the Van der Linde gang, will travel to Saint Denis to seek out Josiah Trelawney hoping that he can tell him, where the gang has ended up, after him (Mac) beeing shot up and captured in Blackwater. Trelawney will inform him that the gang has been disbandened a couple of months after the ferry heist and that many gang members were killed. However, he encourages Mac to help one gang member who is alive and in need of a friend, to build a new life: Pearson, who has moved into Trelawney's old trailer at the city limits of Rhoades. Mac from there moves on to help Perason to get a new start on life and acquire the means to buy the local grocery store. Later on Mac meets Bill and Javier, working as mercenaries in New Austin, and preparing to go into hiding in Mexico. Karen he encounters living a miserable existence as a barmaid in a lousy tavern in a town in the newly accessible territory West of the Grizzlies. And there is even supposed to be a final meeting between Dutch and Mac, in which Dutch informs Mac about Micah's betrayal of the gang but, when Mac reacts to it by expressing the will to seek out Micah and kill him, strongly advises him, not to embark on the path of vengeance reminding him of his old lesson that it is "a fool's game" and instead leave Micah to him (Dutch), 'cause who has nothing left to loose. Instead Dutch asks Mac to find something positive to live for. So Mac decides to not pursue Micah and instead seeks out Kate, deciding to dedicate his life to wrench here away from alcoholism and to turn her into a comple person once again. And since Mac, unlike John, in the end decides not to follow the path of revenge but the path of helping others, his story, unlike that of John or Arthur ends peacefully, i.e. in a curveball-movement by the developers (thwarting the players' expecations after the last two games) he survives in the end and starts a new life with Kate (perhaps sailing away on a ship to Tahiti). So, if I've not been taken for a ride, there should be six cameos of former gang members akin to those in this vieo in the epilogue of RDR (Trelawney, Pearson, Javier, Bill, Kate and Dutch), though most of them are probably more sidecharacters and companions like Uncle and Charles and brief cameos. But anyhow, thought those whisperings in the gravpevine might interest someone.

I don’t get emotional often but seeing Rains Fall broke my fucking heart man. He had to watch his people get decimated and his only remaining son/family member is dead now. I always loved how the epilogue tied in perfectly with the original Red Dead Redemption game. I honestly wish that Rockstar would make a more... modern day version of the original game. Bring it up to speed with the second one. Not a reboot, just a remastered version, if you will. Either way, I have always loved both games and I think that the stories told intertwine perfectly. (Oh, and if they do make a remaster of the original game, perhaps we could get a few references to Arthur Morgan too. May his soul forever stand unshaken.)
