Watched from beginning to the end without getting distracted for a second. I love how you focus on the small things, like the way grass moves in the water or the simplicity of rye bread. It feels very personal and real, and that's what I love the most about your channel! Also, the filmography and music really pulled me in. Watching this almost felt like being right there in the Lapland wilderness.

@@MerlinFlexer We in Finland have many beliefs related to animals, before the arrival of Christianity we had Baltic Finnic paganism. I myself still carry that matter with me, my grandparents taught me that everything alive in this world had some meaning, for example you were not allowed to go into the forest until you knocked on a tree at the edge of the forest and asked for permission, because you were not allowed to disturb the peace of the inhabitants of the forest and also if you picked berries or mushrooms from the forest you had to leave some unpicked, otherwise the inhabitants of the forest would starve. we believed that different types of guardians, fairies and elves, lived in the forest and in the buildings, when you went fishing, for example, you had to remember to be quiet so as not to disturb the peace of the forest's inhabitants. I had to remember to say thank you when I left the forest and leave water in the sauna for the sauna elf so that he could wash himself. It's wonderful for me to notice how much you love Finland and its nature. Finnish Lapland, in particular, can make an indelible impression. In Finland, we call it Lapland madness, because when you fall in love with Lapland, you don't want to leave.

Sámi folklore states that the white reindeer was the most magical reindeer of all the reindeer. It was believed that if a human was to catch a white reindeer it would bring them luck, riches and eternal happiness. Sámi folklore, the white reindeer is often seen as a good omen or a spiritual sign, with their appearance in traditional art, poetry, and music symbolising purity, hope, and resilience.
