Great video mate, thank you for coming to my country. One thing I’ll say is that Somalia is a very homogenous country and they don’t mean to come across in a rude or unwelcoming way, it’s just they don’t come across many foreigners and it tends to create curious looks which may be taken the wrong way. It’s all just cultural differences but I’d recommend you to get in touch with any KZbinr or diaspora so they can help you understand it a bit more whilst there. You’re in the heart of Somalia and I hope you continue to experience more but with better people. Great work again

Callum, it’s amazing to see your content in Somalia. I feel bad that you’re not getting the right interaction from the locals and would suggest maybe learning a few phrases in Somali, to make it easier to communicate with the locals (as I think a lot of them don’t speak English). I’ll spell a few phrases out for you phonetically in Somali…Sid-eh Ta-hay (how are you) Maa-Lin Waanag-san (good day) Mahad-sanid (thank you). Saying these things may help you start a conversation. Somalia has been disconnected from the outside world for such a long time, so the people may be curious but don’t know how to approach or engage with you. Hope this helps 😊
