It's just a pity you didn't get allowed in to Somaliland.I was there in May 2019 in Hargeisha and had a wonderful experience except in Berbera I wasn't allowed to take pictures they thought I was a journalist but I got a few pics from the place.The beach was also nice it was so hot the water was so warm I had to swim with a long dress but I didn't mind that.We couldn't go back to Hargeisha that night it was raining so bad we stayed back in Berbera at Damal Hotel it was quite fine and very comfortable room.I had time to visit 2 restaurants Sultan and PFC Garden.The food was really good especially that pizza at PFC really yummy 😋 It was really a wonderful experience I hope you get allowed in next time and I'm sure you will enjoy it.May God bless you everywhere you go and thank you for always sharing your wonderful journeys and experiences with us ♥

I had no problems entering the country as a German. (02/2023). I was in Berbera, Hargeisa, Ceerigaaboo, Maydh and Burco. If you need some help oder advise just ask me. I can help. I had a wonderful guide and brilliant time in somaliland. Somali people are so kind and friendly. Try it again. it´s worth it.

Hey just a heads up the reason they did this is because there is currently a crisis in “western Somaliland” (northern Somalia) where people are rejecting the secessionist regime in Hargeisa and thus they thought u would perhaps expose the reality on the ground as well as the terrorism of this regime on the people of laascanood.

@R M what region lol 😆 I will just take a minute of my time to educate you .... somaliland was a independent country 26 June 1960 and joined voluntary somalia 1 July after they got there indendence from Italy.. our dream was to unite all somali speaking people 5 regions Djibouti.. somaliland.. nfd kenya .. and somalis in Ethiopia.. we reliased that we made a huge mistake and viva to Djibouti for not joining that ... from day one we regretted joining that union .. after almost 13 years of our struggle to get our country back we finally deated that union even though our cities was raised to ground we rebuild our country from zero ... let be me plain with somaliland was a country before Somalia... today we have strong economy peaceful country without international countries telling us what to do ... we are a country and your country is awash with amison protecting your parliament your president... viva my Republic somaliland..

I am American. I visited and lived in Somaliland for a few years. The people are really nice and the place is beautiful. I had a sponsor, as I was teaching there. Insha'Allah you can get the proper arrangements and be able to visit and show the people this beautiful land.
