Just about the right amount of matrix left on that Hildi to protect the fossil but not be too onerous to prep! Nice finds

Nice trip that mate some great finds 👍 i hope the possible haugia turns out well ive not found one of them yet. Im in whitby for a few days atm so i might do a ravenscar trip before i leave. I have found some nice bits so far including a chunk of nautilus which i think and im hoping has still got the centre there, hows the other bone block getting on???

I'll send the Haugia off soon for a pro to prep and fingers crossed it's better than the other ones I've got in my collection. If you do go to Ravenscar, the seal patrols are still about and thanking people for walking through the ferns rather than down the shore. Other bone block sadly was just some ribs bits. Got it back today. The Cat from this vid was prepped today. Will have a look at the prep video of that and decide if it's worth posting later in the week
