About the explosion, the unknown signals that come down will explode when they expire. Gold and Silver can usually be found close together.

I love watching you learning this game. It helps me get started too. I was so confused about this game until recently and you started playing. Keep up doing what you do. So many others are confusing/too fast/not as entertaining. So I love your attitude about it. My suggestion/contribution, why not give a block or two down where you mount your wheels to provide extra ground clearance. But I know nothing about this game so have fun 😁

Those unknown signals are cargo drops which you could get cosmetics and they have a chance to give you items for your base but you have to press the button to get a special item and then look for a cargo thing to get stuff but after a while they explode which you heard they last 14m until they explode

GUI tip: You can ctrl+click sliders (eg, the wheel strength sliders) to open a text box that will let you type in a value directly.

right click when mining makes no minerals appear for easy tunnel drilling but don't use it on resources!

Ive just started really playing again ive got 700+ hours on pc but im playing on xbox with a buddy and its a blast. Ended up getting a wireless mouse keyboard combo just for it..... now for tips.... conveyors are your friend use them so your base is interconnected, put a gyroscope on your rover so that if you go airborn you still can control its angle for optimal landing(strength can be adjusted), if your not against using a large amount of your hydrogen you can take the bottle and empty your inventory so your as light as possible and fly straight up until you see an ice lake around you. Note the direction and then kill the jetpack and just drop, with the 100m/s speed limit you can kill your speed off super quick when you get back down closer to ground.

Another tip you can type /gps [enter ore found] do this at every ore you find because you can use up deposits quickly sometimes

This is for you Z1, im not here to spoil anything, just making it clear that in vanilla: you can get all metals EXCEPT uranium and platinum on the earthlike planet. Some planets contain Platium, but NO planets contain uranium. Its MUCH easier to get to space from and to find tan (discolored) spots on Titan, so I suggest making a video with Titan as your starting planet. Also, all thrusters apply their force to the ship's center of gravity, meaning you can have a single thruster way off to the side, and the ship will still fly (works only for thrusters, not wheels). To validate all that I have just said, I have been playing this game non stop for a month, learning all of the CURRENT vanilla game features and mechanics, my experience is up to date.

Large grid welders can help you build things adjacent to their business end, just remember to hook up their conveyor ports to your base's storage. You can also build a 3x3 window on top of an array of 9 large welders and use it to rapidly build and repair small flying vehicles.

In the future, your marker on the magnesium, nickel, silicon area is going to get a bit confusing. You should name your markers with the elemental symbols of the ores instead

You can use the medical comp. from the drop pod

Agreed. The Survival Kit on the Drop Pod has the exact number of Medical Components you need for the one on your base. Grinding it all the way down at this point, and finishing the Kit on the base, would be just fine. If you put an O2/H2 Generator on the base, perhaps on top of the Small Cargo Container, you wouldn't need the Drop Pod any more, and could just grind it down completely to use the components elsewhere. Also, there are more keyboard/mouse short-cuts for the Build Planner, similar to the Right-click with the welder adding needed items to the planner. If you hover your mouse over the buttons for the Build Planner in the Inventory screen, the tool tip will tell you what they are.

One "PRO" tip for making GPS markers... If you write into chat command "/gps" it will automaticaly make marker where you stand with your name. Assing text will name it "/gps Here is Iron" :)

15:45 unknown signals explode (harmlessly) once their timer runs out, that's probably what you heard. Or one hitting the ground a bit too hard, that happens fairly often too.

glad to c u move over to space engineers, found u playing scrap mechanic, which ive just bought, had this a while tho :) Do urself a solid, i dont know if ur going full vanilla, but Build Vision Mod is whats keen should have done with the game it is worth getting for ease of building, and setting up wheels etc. it allows u to change the settings of an item just looking at it, its name everything, its massively useful :)
