Finding roadside datolite up in the Keweenaw Peninsula. First we take you up north the find datolite, then we bring it to our shop and cut and polish the piece.

I was on this road looking and not thinking, we parked in a spot by tailings. Our battery died and we had to walk to Delaware mine to ask for a jump. He said we could have been arrested for trespassing. We felt terrible and apologized . We were honest and said we were looking on the road. But we won't do that again! Lol what an amazing find. Absolutely gorgeous!
