Man, winters producing some really cool species for you! I haven’t been finding anything other than twolineds, redbacks, and the occasional green frog. Hopefully, turtles will be basking on the warmer days in February.

K... That's nuts. I was walking on those rocks earlier... And the salamanders were under my feet the entire time... Wow. I found 1 eastern newt red s. I'm blown away.. my original mission was to collect clay. To find and identify clay out in the wilderness. Holy s***... That's a lot of amphibians that I had absolutely no idea where they're in the first place. I'm a student of Bushcraft, and several other subjects including microchips uC, barebones electronics... And I'm heavily interested in military and scouting and learning about the world I live in.. but yeah I'm learning about my Eastern Newt red s, and it's pretty cool that they can survive in cold temperatures or cold.. seeing as hell that I was down in Florida for 15 years and could just snatch up lizards right off the walls and stuff down there.. but up here (NYS) it's interesting.. tnx a million for the video.. learned of food sources because of you.. if I ever needed it for survival in the future. tnx. +1, 140
