Jase and Missy Robertson discuss faith, family, duck hunting, and their daughter’s medical journey. Mia was born with a cleft palate-a serious condition that required multiple cranial and facial surgeries. Through the struggles, they learned that God was with them in the midst of the heartache and pain. It’s a conversation you won’t want to miss!

Very authentic. It's ok to say that it's work. I appreciate the openness. It's ok to look back and say you've grown in Christ as well as relationship one with each other.

Love this family. I think God can handle our questions always. But one time when I was feeling sorry for myself about something and had the why me’s, the Holy Spirit spoke to me gently but firmly and asked back: Why NOT you? A rosey walk isn’t promised to us. And yes, why not me? If the Lord is purifying and refining me as gold, there has to be testing of my metal. A muscle does not grow and strengthen without some heavy lifting. God is good ALL the time 💜💜💜

Anyone who is called to a personal walk with Jesus, is invited to become Christ-ian, or Christ like. Phil 3:10 we are called to know the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings. If you do a study on this concept, you'll find that Jesus was homeless, acquainted with sorrow, hated by most, abandoned by family and friends, just to name a few. Turn "why me" into James 1:3-5, CONSIDER IT PURE JOY, whenever you face trials.....

Dr Dobson has counseled since way back that young people SHOULD get married young WHEN they are burning with passion.. With the parents blessing and support- emotional and spiritual and elsewhere..if the parents/ in laws would support that the problem would be resolved. It is a model that has been traditionally followed and is highly successful within the safe and sane parameters of a Christian heritage and family

I love this story and the truth in this because my son was diagnosed with Autism when he was young and I took the same approach when it came to getting him the help he needed and this story of faith and hope is exactly what you need to be reminded of when you face medical issues with your kids. I have watched their show before and had no idea the amazing things God has done through them just makes me like them more!!! Awesome!!!!

Missy is right, it is hard to have a husband in the service especially having kids with special needs and after 911. My husband was ones gone for over 2 yrs. What was even worst was when rumors of someone hurt or have died. I can empathize with Jase and Missy because my son was born with cleft lip and palate. By the grace of God I survived often without my husband and family support. I thank God for His strength and grace.

Missy talked about military wives putting up with the separation. Each branch has their own time schedules away from "home" for deployment. Being in the Navy, that is normally, depending upon the type of ship, is normally 6 months, at least with what we (my wife and I) had to endure. I had 5+ years of sea duty, but we still had a home life at our home port. The Navy has a very high divorce rate because of the deployments and unfaithfulness in the family on both sides.

Oh my gosh. I pictured Jim Daley and John Fuller so different from hearing them on the radio. This is meant as a compliment, even though it might not sound like it: Your voices sound very young. I thought you both were in your 30's. Now don't take offense. Knowing you've been around the block a few times actually gives you more credibility, and having a young-sounding voice means you have great radio voices. I'm not trying to say, "Wow, you're really old!" lol. Also, this was a great interview! :D

A few years back or more. It was AFTER the show, did it with tons of people waiting to see. So this is him letting it grow back our. A better hair style may have kept it going. Looked like Phil shortly accepting Jesus. An old style not cut to show his looks best. An older country stylist.Should have had a better stylist.

Interviewer is good at cutting people off! Super dislike when interviewers do that as it gives that un-genuine feeling, and that they don’t care about there guests feeling... like hey let me ask you a question, then cut you off 6 words in.
