Great material. :) At one of the last stops on the way out where there was the place that looked filled by critters and the note on the ledge, there were something really interesting above you that looked like honeycombed rocks ... you didn't seem to notice. SUGGESTION: either move your camera more slowly when you pan, or get a camera with better motion smoothing.

I didn’t zoom in on the note because they all say the same thing, do not enter. I was pretty tired at that point so that’s probably why I missed stuff. I’ll try to be better at panning in the future!

@@TopoTravelers Sorry, I haven't seen any of those notes in any videos before. But it was mainly that interesting pattern above you that caught my attention. I surely appreciate your efforts, tho! I know how exhausting days like that can be when out in the wilderness.

Thank you for taking me on a beautiful hike with so many very interesting ruins, rock art and natural beauty. Great!

Great work. I’m going to recommend a small flash light to lighten up some of the darker rooms you look into. We may able to see better in them.

Another great video! Keep it up and there's no doubt you'll continue growing! Always interesting traces from peoples lives long ago. That round ruin was in fantastic condition and sometime it looks as if the walked away just last week. Looking forward to the next!

I hope so! That round ruin was probably the best I’ve seen, so cool

This was a beautiful trek; the canyon walls so colorful. I've been enjoying your vlogs since finding one in my feed. I appreciate the respectful way you examine ruins and rock art , and explaining the importance of being respectful and careful. One thing I wish you would do differently in your vlogs is to focus a bit longer and perhaps from more than one perspective on rock art. The bright daylight makes it difficult to see the details, and yet it is SO fascinating. Thanks for zooming in on some of then, like the colored face at 16:20, and thanks for sharing your adventures.

I’m glad I popped up in your feed! I will try to focus on rock art longer in the future, thank you for the suggestion

Another great video! All you SW explorers have a hard time remembering the word for the accumulation of carbon on the walls and ceilings of ruins. "Soot". hahaha.
@TopoTravelers7 ай бұрын
I don’t know why I can never think of that word in the moment!

If you can manage it, perhaps you could bring a drone the next time. A drone makes it a lot easier to see ruins that are impossible to climb up to or to get a general view of a canyon that gives you the opportunity to pick up details that you wouldn't see otherwise. Just a suggestion on my part.

Just gotta save up for one. By the time I venture southwest again I think I’ll have one!

Another epic hike. Love the ruins you two found and your lizard friends. Just curious during the hot summer months will you go further north in your treks. I’m in LV, where the past few days have been sweltering.
