As a Korean-American, I'll tell you the most popular OG ramen is "Shin Ramen" hands down. It's the Michael Jordon of ramen and you guys missed it. Also, the most popular company is "Nong-Shim", which is like the most recognized brand. You guys missed both....sort of disappointed. I think you guys need redux.

I'm half Korean and grew up in Korea for most of my younger years. Yes, Shin Ramen is the most popular. But it's too spicy for me. Winner for me is Jin Ramen. Always and forever. And I don't see it here either.

Served a year in Korea. Lived out in town, off post. One of the first things I did was buy about 15 different types of instant noodle. Eventually tried them all out to find a few favorites. I still eat them after my return to the US.

Guys, great idea, as kr noodles are actually pretty popular these days. But you guys should try describing the noodles slowly, one by one and convince the audience how good or bad each one is. It took only 15 seconds from the bulgogi udon to the next one without really saying much of it. Hope you guys take this as an constructive criticism on a good way, cuz I love your content! Next time try some roasted pork belly or soft/hard boiled eggs with the ramen. Its so good. Its my favorite way to eat ramen. Sometimes I even put in a raw egg over the noodles before you pour the hot water in and let it all cook together. Its really good too and you get chunks of egg bits all throughout your ramen/soup.

My favorite is the sesame ramen (참깨라면). Used to eat a lot of that in college. That said the best instant noodle brand is Gonghwachun (공화춘). Their black bean noodles and jjampong noodles are the BEST. Unfortunately you can only get them in certain convenient stores in Korea.

The hot mushroom noodle is not actually a Korean brand. The company makes and sells Korean food products for US market only. The others are pretty popular in Korea too.
