Omg thank you so much. I had to find the inverse of f(x) = 3x/(x-4) in pre-calc, and I really couldn't figure it out. This made a lot of sense. Very clear instructions, love it.

+Zachary Mitchell awesome! I am posting new videos and organizing them in playlists this year for Pre-Calc. Feel free to watch as you please PC Unit 1 is the first playlist I have created so far

I'll have to keep that in mind once we get into heavier stuff. Unfortunately we're still on review, currently on inverses, domain, and range which is something I did a lot of last year. However I didn't have much experience with rational functions, so I was tripped up on how to find its inverse. My teacher said I can just skip it and we'll learn about it later, but math is my passion so I wanted to know anyway, plus knowing how will make it easier once we properly do rational functions, so win-win.

I remember my High school math teacher telling me that its not his fault that we dont know what we needed to know to be prepared for his class. He said he will teach what he is paid to teach and thats it. I didn’t fault him because it was his choice but i realized then that being a good mathematician dosent make you a good math teacher. B. @amintafreshi7993 жыл бұрын
how does this work??
@danielmaster87763 жыл бұрын
@@amintafreshi799 It's actually simple factoring. xy and -y have a common factor of y. So you take the y out of both of them, put it outside the parentheses, and what you have left is x-1. xy became x, and -y became -1.
