Robert Tobin even though Sunday league standards aren't very high and with the cameras they still aren't the best, I could have gone over these kids and I'm 16 stone. It's just the basics there missing, simple catching technique, how to move about the goal, even proper diving technique. No of that is there, obviously they'll get better but I would have thought some class keepers would have come down, showcasing your ability to millions on the internet! You never know if a trail might come your way

michael thompson watch his highlights, he's naturally deteriorating with age. He's much slower coming out and getting down to save. The fabregas goal against them in February summed it up. Already much worse than last year.

It takes a lot of courage to be a goalkeeper, I agree a little, these boys arent technically amazing and they were nervous but they make up for it with willing and a really good 'have-a-go' attitude. They keep that up and they'll improve! :) Also wanna say - they look like great lads! So hope you guys relax and stop with the negative comments! Goalkeeping is hard and mistakes are obvious... Bet you strikers miss and mess up some of the time but it's far less apparent! Good video bro!

Yes, they maybe arent that great, but with time comes practice and experience, which will help them grow. And the injured keeper (forgot his name, really sorry :P ) can maybe give them some training and advice. And its definetly better than having a midfielder in goal.

Not come on here to sound big headed but as a former keeper for Portsmouth academy and now a keeper coach and only 18 the best thing for them keepers would be one on one sessions where you work on handling and positioning the best ways for me personally are cones on your both posts and central and just teach them the w and get behind the ball but all the best lads good luck

I really wish I could do this, im a keeper whos bern trialed for many academies but never given the chance in the end, which was devestating as at the end I lost out to too very promising keepers, if I tried this everyone would complain of my age, and im not really given the chance any more

As a keeper myself, what I see are keepers (including Dan) whom all lack confidence and leadership. None of the keepers command the box and own their goal. Each of them seem to have a fear of the ball or a player hitting them and in turn lack any ability to stop any attempt on net. The foot work of all the keepers is terrible, as is those goal kicks..... a keeper should be able to bang a ball up field with distance and accuracy. The good news is over time they will likely get better. Wish I lived in England to help you guys out. ;) Good luck.

And even if they palm, punch or even ‘claw’ it away as he said it should be away from danger. Not a little tap at the attacker again....they ain’t the best sorry. Even their new keeper Matt is poor.
