Here's a quick little tip for you guys on finding the perspective in paintings and photos. It's a nifty little Photoshop script that you can use. Once you have a grid, you can start painting using it as a guide!

Regarding the script files, they have a .jxtbin extension, I am on windows and I had to change the extension from .jsxbin to .jsx in order for them to work. Tought it might help someone having issues with the scripts.

I would love to see how to apply some basic shapes to those grids, it seems rather.. difficult Id say, sometimes I just dont know i.e where to start with cylinder, at least the circle part, it seems like i cant put that cylinder circle on the grid, it doesnt fit?

Hello Walid! I tried using running this script but I get Error 8800: General Photoshop error- does this script only work for certain versions of photoshop or is it because its a .jsxbin file as opposed to the .jsx files I only see in the Scripts file?

one question when I draw, holding Shift along a perspective line (a diagonal line, for example), does it snap to the perspective grid as I draw, or does it still draw a straight line, ignoring the grid?

I would love for such a feature to exist in Photoshop as it would help and make drawing after perspective amazing, but alas such a feature does not exist. When you hold in shift, it simply snaps to the horizontal or vertical axis.

Once you have the script based perspective lines in place -- can't you just use Photoshop's own perspective tool (since you'd now be able to see where to place the tool's markers) and just run like normal?? Should work fine!

I know this comment is two years old, but in case anyone in the future struggles with this same problem: make sure you extract the right files!!!! there are two sets, one set's file sizes will be 200 bytes, while the other set's will be different ranges of kilobyte file sizes. Get the kilobyte one!!
