If you were to remove the inductor would the process for finding the transfer function remain the same?
@ElectricalEngineeringAuthority4 жыл бұрын
Yes. So you still need to find Vo/Vs as your transfer function. If you remove the inductor then you won't have LS there anymore.
@pritpatel2424 жыл бұрын
nice explanation !!! But is it possible to find the values of R, L and C from the transfer function ?
@power-max2 жыл бұрын
Not in general I don't think. Suppose you find the transfer function of a simple voltage divider with no load on the output. It should simplify down to just a constant ratio determined by the R1 and R2. You can determine the ratio of these resistors but not the absolute value of each one, as that information was lost.

hello, the K in the voltage source stands for what? is it a constant or kilo?
@ElectricalEngineeringAuthority4 жыл бұрын
It is a constant
@mfan9814 жыл бұрын
@@ElectricalEngineeringAuthority Looking at this from the perspective of a filter circuit the K term would also be the gain at 0 frequency or DC gain correct? This could be seen as a passive 2nd order low pass filter circuit

Why did you equate in into (Vo-KV(s))/2+s insteaf of zero?
@imissmycatsm5 жыл бұрын
I thought it must be like this (Vo-KV(s)/2+s) + (Vo/4) + (Vo/10/s) = 0 then (Vo-KV(s)/2+s) = -(Vo/4) - (Vo/10/s)
@imissmycatsm5 жыл бұрын
Isn't?
@kirbyrainer74664 жыл бұрын
@@imissmycatsm I believe it depends on what direction you draw the currents entering the node. She drew one current entering the node and 2 currents leaving the node.

Could you combine the parallel resistors and then apply voltage divider rule to find H(s) as well?
@purplegk65 жыл бұрын
SizeableVermin I did that. But ended up with a different answer.. 4K/6+s
@Jnglfvr4 жыл бұрын
The resistors are not in parallel. But you can combine the 4 ohm resistor with the parallel s/10 capacitor and do voltage division and get exactly the same answer. Simplify the following: H(s) = K*(40/(4*s + 10)/(40/(4*s +10) + 2 + s))

for the Vo multiple should the denominator not be 40(2+s) instead of 20(2+s) great video tho
@ElectricalEngineeringAuthority4 жыл бұрын
So I have taken the common denominator between 4, 10, and s+2 which is 20(s+2). I hope it answered your question.
