That 386 game is definitely legit. That Shiny Zigzagoon came from an event to fix the berry glitch. The Makuhita/Hariyama was probably cloned, but that's just a glitch in Emerald (no hacks required). And last of all, Jirachi is easy to get if you have the means to.

Fun fact, the shiny Pichu was an event pokemon given away on diamond, platinum and pearl. From there you could trade it to HeartGold or SoulSilver, take it to the shrine in Ilex forest (as your party leader) and a spiky eared Pichu would appear and join your team.

That shiny mew is legitimate. It has been transfered over from the Emerald farraway event. Gen3 en 4 games show only the small text: Obtained in trade, met at level this and that stuff

I was going to say this! Likely RNG manip, because it's not a guaranteed shiny. Could be that they sat there for hours soft resetting though. Also, if they levelled it up past 30 and then used Pal Park it would show whatever level it was when you transferred it, not the original met level.

Shiny Mew can be real there, from the Japanese even for Emerald for the Old Sea Map. It was the only time you could shiny hunt Mew.

There is a DNS server maintained by fans that resurrected a bunch of old events that you can do even today, including the pikachu coloured Pichu, the spiky eared Pichu and the legendary beasts. The shiny eevee is also and I believe WCS is World Championships. Yes, those all likely came from that server.

Honestly if the mew was caught from the faraway island event from shiny hunting (which is insane if it was) and then sent up via pal park it’s feasible since I think it shows the level it was received from pal park not it’s original level (which would be 30) so that shiny mew could have been legit.

that shiny pichu is an event mon from diamond/pearl i think. it lets you do an in-game event in hg/ss to get the special spiky-eared pichu. edit: oh yeah, confirmed by the other pichu! thats how they got that spiky eared one.

You can actually get a shiny mew in emerald! Maybe it was transferred from emerald. The event mew is level 30 so it isn’t out of the question for it to have been leveled up by 4 levels and then transferred :)

Japanese files are a gold mine for how cheap they are compared to the US. I bought copies of Sapphire, Platinum, and all the gen 5 games and got a lot of legit rare Pokemon from in real life distribution events and mystery gifts.

I use a GB Operator for the GB/GBA stuff and I just transfer the saves from the cartridges from DS/3DS games onto my PC using a "spicy" 3DS . The controller is an 8BitDo Ultimate Controller

Pokemon is a great game to learn languages with because of how simple it is and how most people have likely played through at least one game enough to know the general dialogue. Its also fairly easy to figure out from context. The newer games even let you choose between kanji+hiragana or just hiragana.

I saw that price tag and went back and forth before finally buying it. I was hoping for shines.. but the guy who had it before didn't get in that far. But i deleted the save data and did my own run, debating on if i should play it as a nuzlocke or not. After My cynaquil fainted i was like "good thing I'm not playing a nuzlocke." Edit: that machop line save reminded me of my first platinum save. I basically bred all the Eeveelutions and then only have them on my team. This one kid was watching me play from the seat behind me and asked 'you really like Eevee don't you?' I said "yeah, they are so cute, isn't it cool?" The kid replied 'no, thats just dumb' and sat back down. I never used a full Eeveelution team until the crown tundra dlc.

Id say the charizard holding a master ball is indeed a little sus, given the old school hacked pokemon being used to dupe hundreds of masterballs in that era of pokemon, i remember my friend showed me a website back then where i could create and trade pokemon to myself, the golden days of havinf some postgame fun with pokemon that literally cannot exist by like giving them moves and abilities they cant normally have, i never even thought to use it for making them hold masterballs so i could get infinite of them. I did however hack in a shiny gengar with absurd stats that could OKO everything in the game. The joys of being young and learning that cheats are a thing in video games

There's a lot of ways. For the GB/GBA stuff I have a GB Operator. Most times it's probably just easiest to emulate though. There are DS/3DS capture cards, but they are super expensive and not really worth it for most folks.

im not sure if you know but in the gen 4 games you could only have 3 wonder cards at a time! you would have to delete one if you wanted to get a new event pokemon. which would be why that one save only had 3 of the cards but more than that in event pokemon. i do think it was a legitimate one (its the save that had the eevee and stuff im talking about)
