I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation, speaking as a Registered member of The Nation of Islam. Thank you for your scholarship. It is only natural for us to ask the question about Master Fard Muhammad's origins, His activity among Black people in America along with His interaction with others both inside and outside of America. Firstly, I want to directly answer the question about the future of The Nation of Islam. He (Master Fard Muhammad) left us everything that we need to grow into a glorious future. The Nation of Islam will survive through this transitional period from where we are today with The Honorable Minister Farrakhan among us, into the future because we are taught that The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad is The Eternal Leader of The Nation of Islam, present or absent. The Honorable Minister Farrakhan is teaching us to look to The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad as The Leader of The Nation of Islam and Master Fard Muhammad as our Saviour and much more. Minister Farrakhan makes it clear that he is sitting in the Seat of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in his absence. In these 46 years absent The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, The Honorable Minister Farrakhan has made converts for The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, not himself. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad told him that after 40 years that he can make converts to himself. We love The Honorable Minister Farrakhan and thank Allah that he raised The Flag of Islam back up in America, but he has taught us and is teaching us to go to the root of our belief - Master Fard Muhammad and The Supreme Wisdom Lessons. Because he has pointed us to the source, the place he draws his strength, Minister Farrakhan is ensuring the survival of our Nation. Master Fard Muhammad started us on the path of evolution into gods. He (Master Fard Muhammad) came to make Black people in America into Himself. In other words, He came to give us His Mind. Master Fard Muhammad was only able to stay among us for a short while, but He stayed long enough to start the process of raising a dead Nation to life. Master Fard Muhammad planted the seed of The Nation of Islam in The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Master Fard Muhammad didn’t give The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad all of the answers, but He gave him enough and what he needed to start the inter-generational mental, physical and spiritual process of changing us into a new and complete (perfect) people. He made The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad all up into Himself according to Minister Lucius Bey (May Allah be pleased with him). He also left Lessons with us that are replete with histories intended to awaken the sleeping Nation of people. These Lessons were intended to be studies in The University of Islam - a formal school setting. Master Fard Muhammad came setting up schools known as The University of Islam. This we have kept alive in The Muhammad (Master Fard Muhammad) University of Islam. We are to study what Master Fard Muhammad, The Saviour, brought us. And in the fullness of time, which is now, we would begin to unlock the hidden wisdom and meaning of these Lessons. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that Master Fard Muhammad study all of the educational systems of the civilized world. It is my belief that He synthesized this knowledge and wisdom into the coded language of The Supreme Wisdom Lessons. That is why some are perplexed or even confused with the teachings of Master Fard Muhammad and The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad because of the many connections with Masonry, Christianity, Sufism, Shite’ Islamic traditions, Buddhism and other schools of esoteric knowledge. Some even think that our teachings are borrowed or concocted from other religions or schools of belief. No! Master Fard Muhammad brought a medicine to the Black man and woman in America. His Teaching is a healing. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad took what his Teacher gave to him and built on His base to convert the masses of Black people. According to The Honorable Minister Farrakhan, these Lessons will lock up the 66 trillion years of rebellion of the Original People, unlock the hidden meaning of The Bible and the Holy Qu'ran and will open the door for us and the entire human family to The Kingdom of God. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad planted the seed of The Nation of Islam in The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. This seed would lie dormant until our Springtime. According to The Lessons, Mr. Muhammad cracked one Atom into ten million parts. According to Brother Minister Rahman Akil Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with him), The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad told him that he (Elijah Muhammad) "cracked" Farrakhan, so therefore The Honorable Minister Farrakhan (the Spirit of Allah manifested in his person) has been deposited in millions of people. It is highly improbable that either one of you, and certainly myself, would not be speaking of Master Fard Muhammad or The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad right now, had it not been for the sole effort of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He rebuilt The Nation of Islam himself. We have been raised from the dead on his faith. But he made us into Students - Student Ministers, Student Captain, Students. Therefore, our level of scholarship and understanding of what Master Fard Muhammad brought us, what The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught (and is teaching us), and the perfect example of studentship of what The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is showing us, ensures our success. You mentioned Dr. Wesley Muhammad as one of our scholars, but I assure you that there are hundreds of more scholars in our ranks that you don't see. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad has given us an Invincible Truth. As with the seasons, they come, and they go, but we, The Nation of Islam will only cycle through time, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, but we are here to stay in and out of season. I have read this book and marveled at the level of research incorporated in every line. Dr. Morrow has parsed every known and previously unknown fact about W.D. Fard and his associates to construct a portrait of the man that birthed a movement. Loved hearing this discussion that shares some of that information.

Most of this information was already revealed in _"Chameleon: The True Story of W.D. Fard"_ by A.K. Arian. This work was really groundbreaking. Dr. Marrow although added a lot about the theology of Wallace Fard Muhammad and the NOI. His book is insanely expensive. It costs about $100. And _"Chameleon"_ is not available right now. Getting know the whole history of Wallace Fard Muhammad is quite a task. And to this day no one ever found out about his whereabouts after 1934. So there's still research to do!

Elijah Muhammad said that he was born in Mecca, Arabia in Theology of Times. He was able to speak 16 languages. Ten he was able to write. Those languages shared the same dialects of all the languages. That can make anyone to be able to communicate all of the human family's languages.

Has anyone looked into New Zealand as a possible origin for Fard, if he was in fact Ford there is some mention of a Wallace Ford being born on the same year Fard claims as his Birth date? There was also a Muslim community in San Quentin at the times, where it is possible,he may have come across much obscure information about Islam.

_Detroit Free Press Newspaper - Nov 22, 1932_ When Wallace Fard was arrested as being the leader of a makeshift religious cult that encouraged ritual murder, he told the Detroit police…”I am the Supreme Ruler of the universe” and was immediately arrested and placed into the insane ward of the Detroit jail. The psychiatrist who evaluated him reported to authorities that Wallace Fard was not insane but was indeed a “confidence man” who preyed on the ignorant element of the black community. As a stipulation for his release, Fard was told to disband his cult, leave Detroit, and “do not return”. However, Fard snuck in and out of Detroit until he was finally apprehended and arrested again on May 25, 1933. This time Fard was told that if he was caught in Detroit again he would be charged with accessory to murder stemming from the arrest of one of his followers, Robert Harris, who bludgeoned his roommate to death with an automobile axle rod during a religious sacrificial ritual. Released with this stern warning, Fard left Detroit and went back to Chicago where he was subsequently arrested there when a concerned citizen called the police and reported that a “white man” had rounded up a group of “negroes” on a street corner and was disturbing the peace. After his release, he disappeared without a trace and was never seen or heard from again. After not seeing or hearing from Fard for several months, NOI followers began circulating wild tales prompted by Elijah Poole (Muhammad) that Fard was “God-in-person”, Allah, and other crazy conspiracies. These crazy conspiracies continue to exist to this very day. You sir are a victim of debunked NOI craziness. As for Elijah Muhammad, he did not understand traditional Islam because he did not know Arabic. Hell, he barely knew English given that he only completed the 3rd grade in elementary school. All due respect but WD FARD did not promote ISLAM, the Arabic worship of Prophet Mohammed nor did he use the Holy Koran to each his students. WD Fard was Buddhist and he taught the "8 FOLD PATH" of Buddhism to his students. He never mentions Allah or the Prophet Mohammed in his teachings. The Honorable Elijah Mohammed did in fact re-edit WD Fard's teachings like 'SUPREME WISDOM'. After the edits by Elijah, the words Allah and Prophet Mohammed can be found all throughout the lessons. WD Fard founded Temples and Elijah Mohammed made them Mosques. ISLAM=I. Self. Lord Am Master! This is a Buddhist Principle.

Correction: Master Farad Muhammad was a Sufi. The two regions on the planet that has the largest Sufi populations are West Africa & the Indian Subcontinent. The reason why his teachings didn't appear as mainstream Islam because it was in fact more Ancient & more Quranist rather then based solely in Hadiths that were written by Arabs. For example, Elijah Muhammad taught the FOI to practice Ramadan in December, this is actually the proper timing that is found in the Quran versus the Arabized Ramadan that mainstream Muslims follow. The Quran also holds the concept of the Grafted Devil & in fact in the so called Arabic, they are called Zur'qan (the pale guilty ones). Farad & Elijah knew the origins of Islam has it's roots in the two Aethiopias, which are today known as Africa & India.

I learned that in the Nation that Wallace was to help with the work. I heard that he was able to teach the Holy Qur'an well. I will say that Allah doesn't waste any good. He brought about a large Islamic community in Philadelphia. Even though they strayed away from the teachings. The kind of help was working with Allah's plan. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad knew that the Nation was going to fall for three years. Wallace helped the fall. His job was to help bring a separation of believers and idol worshipers. There were brothers and sisters in the Nation worshipping the Hon. Elijah Muhammad. That was the reason why the Nation fell and failed. Those who worshipped him later went on to follow Wallace and turned Sunni. Those who worshipped Allah who came in the person of MFM helped raised the Nation back after three years. Even Satan does work for Allah. It wasn't said that the help from Wallace was good nor bad. It was a bad help coming from Wallace that helped set the Nation.

I don't like the idea of elevating a man to the status of being God ( W.D. Fard ) that is the only problem I have with the Nation of Islam. This is like the Rastafarians elevating Emperor Haile Selassie as God even though the emperor openly stated "I am A Man" not God Master Fard Muhammad was just a Muslim Missionary who came to spread Islam in North America. He was not the first one many have tried but they failed. Master Fard Muhammad came with a different tactics or approach of spreading Islam by using the Bible first since most of the x-slaves or freed slaves were already Christianize so it is easier for Muslim missionaries to go with this approach of Using the Bible., then introduce the Quran and other Islamic traditions. This is why to this day Black Muslims (Nation of Islam use both the Bible and the Quran when preaching. Fard Muhammad was Pakistani Ahmadiyya Muslim sect who came to America to spread Islam. Most of the theology of the NOI came from Elijah Muhammad. Elijah said in an interview that Fard asked him, "who do you think I am"? Elijah said you are the one who was prophisied in the Bible to come. With that, Fard said, "I am who you say I am". Fard then took this notion that a man with a 4th grade education and reading level believed that he was "God" or whatever and Fard ran with that. All of the "white man is the devil" stuff and hatred for white people, came from Elijah Muhammad because of where he grew up and his direct relationship with racist white people in Georgia. Elijah Muhammad took things from Noble Drew Ali and others and built up a whole movement off of it. He was a great deceiver.

Researchers A.K. Arian and the scholar in this video, Dr. Morrow in "Finding WD Fard" refuted the claim that Abdullah is Fard. Abdullah passed away in 1992, which would make him near 100 if he was born in 1893 and 115 if 1877. Abdullah's life has been documented and it just does not line up with WD Fard's. For example, while WD Fard was in Chicago, Detroit and other areas in the Midwest United States from 1931-1934, Abdullah's son said that he was in Pakistan at the time. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad was backed into a corner in 1963 after the Los Angeles Harold ran the story about WD Fard's prison sentence and in response, he claimed that he was still in contact with WD Fard. Muhammad Ali was giving roughly half his earnings to the Nation of Islam and wanted to meet WD Fard, so Elijah asked his friend Abdullah to meet him. That is where that photo of Khadija and Abdullah came from.

Elijah Muhammad said he was the last Messenger of God . That's why he didn't name a successor . Him calling himself the last Messenger would be deemed blasphemous by orthodox Islam. He didn't participate or "stayed behind the scenes" as you mentioned because he was not in good health this is a well known fact. He was even expected to die during the time of Malcolm though he lived on a bit after Malcolms time with treatment but this is why he was in the background , he wasn't in the background for any altruistic purposes. Elijah's family feared that their Father would die and Malcolm would be left in charge as the natural successor. They knew that with Malcolm in charge they would not be allowed to continue to steal money and participate in corrupt activities like they were doing. Malcolm was a principled man and he would have shut down all forms of corruption. The leadership of the Nation of Islam was very corrupt this why none of them had a problem with anything Elijah Muhammad was doing. None of the leadership left with Malcolm, they were too busy living the good life thanks to the million dollar scam. Fard Muhammad not only said that he was the Supreme God, but he admitted that the cult was a big money racket and promised to break it up. Fard admitted that the whole thing was just a racket. Lets not make saints or prophets out of con artist. We can call a spade a spade. Elijah Muhammad was not only afraid that Malcolm was "too militant" and this was going to destroy his work. He was afraid of what Malcolm knew about him and that he had lost Malcolm's respect after not only impregnating those teenage girls, but not taking care of the children after he got those teenagers pregnant. There was a lot of corruption going on within the Nation of Islam too much for me to go into here. But Elijah Muhammad was well aware of the corruption and he was willing to murder or do whatever it took to maintain his empire. If he needed to have Malcolm murdered he would do it, he even put a hit on his own son as was mentioned in this video, in addition to putting a hit on Wallace he threaten to deny Wallace access to speak to his mother if he didn't admit to Fard's "divinity." Elijah Muhammad said he was the Elijah of the Bible and the Muhammad of the Koran. Also told Malcolm that he was David, Lot, and Noah when he was explaining why he impregnating teenage girls. The most compelling evidence is the tie between Ahmadiyya doctrine and the NOI and the close ties Elijah and the MST had with early Ahmadiyya missionaries. Fard was likely an Ahmadiyys preacher. I'd advise you to watch a video called "Fard IS Ford: Photographic Proof" for an analysis of the photos which show a mole on an the earliest version of the standard NOI photograph of WD Fard. There is a mole in the May 1933 mugshot, the two 1926 mugshots, and the photo from the November 24 Detroit Free Press shows that he's the same person from the 1926 mugshot.
