Use the fan when fighting Erlang and break the shield

Is there any strat to get the fan's qi charge back after I pop it to break his shield once? Cause I definitely see what people are saying about the fan helping but I can never manage to get it back after using it once in the fight.

@@BigNosedBandito the full golden set give a bit of qi back every time your attack crit, so people use that with the staff spin to get in as much crit as possible. There is a drink in chapter 3 that recover some qi when drank. Use the bee mountain stone with it for even more sip. For spirit, appramana bat can freeze him, so once his shield is crashed you effectively get 2 immobilize on him, which should be enough time to completely recharge the fan using staff spin. This is also the go-to spirit of most Erlang counter build. However, Erlang might copy the ice bane to use against you and he's even more annoying with that. Top take bottom is my recommendation. It deals a ton of damage to his shield while keep you pretty safe when used. Also, try using consumables. You get pretty OP medicines in chapter 5. The mirage pills effectively give even more qi so your transformation and fan can comeback faster, life-saving pill basically give you a second health bar and a full cleanse of any and all banes you're suffering, and loong aura amplification pellet significantly increase your dps. You can just pause the game and use the medicines from your inventory

also use spin attack on the boss when he stunned to break shield and get back qi!
