I'm 19 and I haven't found my purpose in this world, some people might say "I'm too young to find it" but I want to .. i want break the cycle of being construction workers .. i want to be a symbol of hope to my younger brothers and sisters ... to show that I'm worth it... its hard to have hope of that .. that what drives me crazy and nuts inside my mind of being a Introvert a Loner .. its been rough trying to find a purpose of continuing education and gaining opportunities.. its been rough dealing with being a divorce kid who deals with daddy issues and trust issues.. but i know that one day i will be something... it going to be a long hard road .. I'm ready for it, I have my native blood in me my people are warriors

Lennie it may be long but it doesn't always have to be hard. Some people know their passion at a young age but for most of us finding our purpose isn't a sprint, it's a marathon that evolves and grows over the years. You may have many different purposes in life. Who knows? Remember to have fun along the way. That's the key. Never take yourself too seriously. Good luck!

23 with a bachelors and a associates in science yet can't find a job, so I can relate. Life sucks, for many even privileged individuals whether money or status. All it ends for is did you do all you can? Did you do all you could for success? Those questions always drill me, and tbh I never can say I did. I never found the answer as many before me/after won't. Don't let that discourage you, many found their ways earlier and older. Gotta strive which I am inept to, Go for it.

I wanna make a difference I wanna do so many things for good.... But instead of doing things I want to do I live everyday knowing that I am wasting my time I am wasting my days.. I have to go to school for 3 more years and then go to college for even more to do what I wanna do! I wanna give back to the community i wanna do everything I can to see smiles on people's faces, but every time I bring up going to a soup kitchen or going down and bringing blankets to the homeless my parents just push it away like oh we can do that, but we never do. I can't drive, I have to go to school, I can't go to new places and learn about new cultures like I wanna do... I just sit and watch videos wanting but not doing. I don't want to be a dreamer anymore I want to be a doer. But again I keep 'wanting' I don't know what to do.

Jessica W Being almost 20 and out of school for 3 years now I can tell you that you still have so much time to do all of the things you want to do! When you're young it seems like time is flying by and once you leave school you'll have to get a job and 'fit in' and then you work until you retire and that's it, that's the end. Well, I can tell you that what you've been told and what you think is all bullshit :) Sure, there are certain constraints holding you back from living your dreams but you must realise that school and college are both very important to get you to where you want to be. Live each day as you can now, don't waste your time in the now worrying about what the future MIGHT be like. The universe just says yes, okay, so tell it where you want to go with absolute faith and you will be taken there :) Keep your head up homie, you've got SO MUCH time ahead of you. You can make the difference you want to make right now! The journey up the mountain starts with the first step. If you want to see smiles all you have to do is be nice. Help an old lady with her groceries, compliment a stranger, it all begins with baby steps. You must learn to crawl before you can walk, as they say. And fuck what people say or think. You can't please everyone and some people exist in your life as a test. They'll push your buttons and make you mad, make you upset but those people are not the people your dreams focus on. "If no one's laughing your dreams probably aren't big enough" I hope this helped a little. So much love going out to you and your dreams! You're going to be a big influence on this world, I can tell already

Write down a list of 10 things you want then narrow it down to 3 things. Write down 3 reasons why these things matter before choosing one thing you are going to focus on. Ones you chosen have the one thing that stands out, write down 10 things that pop in your head that you could do to get closer to that goal and choose the one thing that is the simplest and would make the biggest difference. That is your focus. Good luck!

Motivational videos seem to help some but it's purring the words in to action that I find harder. I struggle with fear and anxiety almost everyday and I'm in my middle years. I wish I could just fly my wings and find my way without worry or regret. Life is a challenge. But let's start thinking positive and that there is something out there meant for me.

To me there seems to be a fundamental flaw with the quote 'live each day as if it were your last'. If you have great goals in life that require effort and passionate devotion, you would not live the phase in your life in which you work to acheive your goals as if each day were your last, for if it were your last there would be no real cause to your work rendering it useless.

I took the quote as saying ,you may have goals but they have to be meaningful enough that you on your last day on earth you would be excited to work on them because you enjoy doing the work .Therefore the end result is as fulfilling as the actual work.That is just my interpretation though

Man, I just found your channel. I've been going through some tough times lately and today I wasn't feeling particularly well about myself, the way I do things and where I am right now. The emptiness that has been shredding my motivation these past few months has been to some degree relieved by this amazing material you are putting up. It's hard work, and it really inspired me, I really got the message and realized things I had not. Life has so much to offer and there's so much to do and enjoy for my dumb ass to sit down in a room drowning in self-pity so you know what? Fuck all of that, I don't know when God will call me, so I WILL live my life to the very fullest. No backing down for what other people think, no putting barriers to yourself. Just... Live. I'm 22 and I've wasted my whole life being destructive, I even went to jail at 17 for stealing. I watch these to remember that money doesn't matter, being happy does. I think my purpose is to help people going through things I went through and teaching them that only you can make yourself happy and that lots of money never will.

Just that first minute alone. 2016. I wrote an entry in my journal that eerily set the course for my life. Not even a week later, I was in Miami on my first professional dance contract that I did not have when I initially wrote. I started dance at nineteen and in a few years had worked to an international level. This “song” again paved the way for me to save that money to then put it toward acting where I auditioned for drama schools in New York and La, and while being “rejected”, I still found a very successfully career. Here I am, eight years later, an electrician, landscaper, first aid attendant, studying neuroscience, and actor and while I was down, and believe me, I was down, someone dear to me made a reference and made me seek Randy’s words which brought me back to this after Tony’s “Rise” came on Spotify to connect the dots. And now, this very moment, I sit in the airport about to catch a red eye to New York for one more try at four years of drama school. The point isn’t to get in: the point is to play with my spirit and live well. Live fully. Thank you everyone that all contributed to bringing this video together.

These TJOP videos always make me cry, cause my life is utterly unremarkable. But what these videos are trying to inspire us to do isn’t realistic or possible. A regular person isn’t able to afford to just go out and live a life of pure utter joy and pleasure. Experiencing new things, going to places they want to go and getting the things they want. It’s not realistic to attempt to live each day purely doing the most idealised version of activities and events you’d want.

I'm wasting every day of my life. I've never lived fully I regret my past so bad, I think about it all the time. I've never lived will I'm mentally burdened with past failures and peoples opinions of me. Argh I need to let go of this I just want to live a happy life, waking up feeling happy and actually looking forward to the day whereas as of now I hate waking up and I hate do what I do and I hate having the sleepless nights of thinking my past... I really feel like I gave up on my purpose. I had a deep passion for helping animals since I was 6 and into college. I helped a blind raccoon, baby birds and stray cats and dogs ALL THE TIME and my mom couldn't stand it. I even did a high school project on veterinary medicine and shadowed a veterinarian. That veterinarian seemed to have to most faith in my abilities as my family was struggling to get by and was barely able to take me there for my shadowing. When I got into college I started with Biology major hoping to go straight into vet school but I gave up on vet school because of financial aid and people telling me vet school was super competitive. My GPA wasn't the best but it was good. I gained lab experience through work study and worked with marine animals and bacteria. I didn't have money for the VCAT so I decided to try and stretch my degree to make money and save to go back and try for vet school but right now I am still looking for a job after my temp job ended. I feel hopeless now because I can't seem to stir up that fiery passion I had when I was 16.
