I wondered if I was surprised. Makes no sense that I would be. I get that it's my fault for getting spotted by not having gone back into stealth, but Linus was expecting an encounter.

Good point that Withers restorations ought to cost more each time, perhaps so should the respecs. That Spectator scared the .... out of me first time. So I found the other way into the Underdark, and was promptly killed by another monster, nearly.

You can actually take on the spectator, this fight looks scarier than it actually is :-) Especially now, when you can initiate on your own terms. Also examine the drow very carefully :-)

I agree, I don't like the cutscene and the start of this encounter. It's the only time the game does it like this, out of the blue. I understand what they were aiming for, but I would like an option to avoid surprise - perception check or some in-world indication.

Exactly how I feel. I understand the cinematics, but it's immersion-breaking to show Linus walking around like he doesn't have a care in the world.
