Fine China porcelain fountain pen - Jinhao 950

i have 2. Dragon (dedicated to Noodler's Qin Shi Huang/First Emperor) and Boat (dedicated to Noodler's Wardens Bad Blue Heron. (In Asian mythology the Heron guides the dearly departed to their next life.) Great writing pens, feel good in hand, well balanced (I use them unposted) and are easy on the eyes. 😁👍 Available art work includes lotus, bamboo, horse, dragon, and boat. I believe there is another 1 or 2 art works offered, but I don't recall what. Mine came from Amazon, under $12 each. I chose with Fine nibs. Jinhao's number 5 nibs fit and work great, by the way. I "upgraded" to Jinhao Fine 2 tone nibs. "Classier" than the all silver standard nibs. I like there is no plastic other than the feeds.

The Jinhao 950 has Ceramic Cap and Chrome Trim, The Jinhao 8802 is similar but had "Gold" trim and the cap is Black - a "Homage" to pelikan styling ;). There is also the 650 Series which is approximately twice the diameter with similar styling to the 8802 Ebay UK www.ebay.co.uk has the pens available including shipping to UK from china from approximately £5 to £12 depending on style and seller - the 650 is the more expensive end of the price range as it is twice the pen as the 650 and the 8802

Hi..have you done a flex nib conversion on the jinhao porcelain pen and if so,which flex nib did you use...am thinking of doing this and need your advise.thank you

I used Zebra G flex. Very cheap but also rust fast...

Hisnibs.com also sells these from the US. He seems to be out of the horse painting but there are several other similar designs on porcelain for $25. I like buying from this source, they inspect the nibs under magnification to be sure they are aligned properly before shipping them.
