There is actually a way you could! If you can find a way to get a job in 3D art like building displays for stores or big pieces to go in interactive spaces then they do this sort of thing pretty often! My dad was always making molds like this when I was a kid and that’s the type of work he was doing with it. :)) I think the job may be called a theming contractor or a 3D designer/artist? Not entirely sure though

So are you cutting off the sections in order to avoid undercuts? If so, how are you seamlessly reattaching those pieces back on once they have been casted?

Yup! I glue it back on when it's in silicone and then seam it.

Is the compressed air used to push the silicone into the surface details ?

Yea but its not silicone its epoxy resin

Is this a resin mold ? Do u know how well expanding foam casts in a resin mold ? Cheers
