Good video Doc! I bought a gold hog multi sluice from you a couple of years ago and it works AWESOME!!! I ran a little over 1/4 of a 5 gallon bucket of pure black sand from the Arkansas River in Colorado through your multi sluice and it captured all of the gold!!! I ran concentrates once more to see what it missed and it only had 3 little specks of gold in the mat, that wasn't captured on the first run!!!! Awesome clean up sluice!!!!!!

Tks for sharing Doc! Can confirm that older mats don't get the tension bubbles. My UR mats are like 4 or 5 yrs old now. Only time theres air bubbles in them is when my set up has gone way outta whack.

Again a great video Doc, very informative. I have an original Raptor that hangs above my bed on my bedroom wall. Here in WI we are not allowed to use mechanical sluices on public land so it doesn't get used very often. Someday I'll buy a stream sluice once I can get out more. After having a stroke last year it can be tough hauling a bunch of gear down the creek so I wasn't able to get out much this year. Now that winter is here, it's back to online prospecting with my homemade clean up sluice in my living room...lol

G'day Doc, i just really wanted to say from us Aussie prospectors thanks for ur uploads m8, I'm new to prospecting an could say I'm comming down with gold fever, I have found ur videos both informative and entertaining, you have assisted me an my children in our journey more than I can say, I recently managed to save enough to buy my first minelab detector (GP3000) and now I have that I'm saving to hopefully buy 1 of ur high bankers at some point, I have looked hard at what u have for sale an will say I am impressed, having permanent injuries stopping me from working I have to be careful that what I buy will be something my kids an I will enjoy for years to come, that it is of high quality so it will last our journey. My kids watched a few of ur videos with me an they now want to try high banking, they love to go out with the detector on family outings making prospecting possible for me so again thank you for the lessons the information it is great to see someone out there that is humble enough to be willing to fully show the workings of products encourage others an give quality useable advice, u have given my family a head start in the prospecting world with information that is hard to find so again thanks m8. Anyway I'm rambling so take care m8 were looking forward to ur next upload an hopefully hitting the Australian gold fields with a gold hog sometime in the future.

Hello I been seeing your videos for a long time I also have a gold hog that I like using but I have a question in the process of smelting if the gold is to thin how and it evaporates how can I keep it together so it can smelt to the point thin gold can't evaporate

Doc have you ever experimented with diaphragm pumps for high pressure in the destruction chamber 2 or 3 pump system combined with a centrifugal pump for the gph.

15 degrees is about as much of a angle that you can run befor nothing stays in the washer mat 12 or 13 like Doc is running strips it the best

Because the washer mat is designed to STRIP. We are not worried about capture.

Love the beard scruff looks good as a owner of two flow pans and multi slues love the products and the kids think we need a piglet flare so santa will have to swing by your shop again this year. Love all my gold hog equipment,need a flare for my piglet.Use my flow pan all the time , no flow no problem.Doesn’t take much to reduce muck down to final pan stage,I break down all my concentrates with my flow pan when I get home from the field.My piglet I purchased 2 years ago,Pulled my first and second Picker out of the Loud Mine dirt.Yeeehaw👍👌

Great vid doc, I just received my flow pan and plan to use it on a claim that has fluctuating flows due to a power plant upstream. Setting a sluice is a constant battle of readjustment which wastes much of my processing time. The club I'm in has other claims with fluctuating flows due to rafting...they increase flows so they don't bump their bottoms on river rocks!!

Love the multi sluice, was able to use it in Washington this year. Took my son on a road trip and had a great time. Used it on a GPA claim and at Cape disappointment... oh we're in Florida so it was a long road trip. Lol

We picked up a flow pan while in dahlonega at the crisson mine. Absolutely love it. I've got a video on my channel of the first time we used it. Did a 15 bucket run in 4 hours. Great pan I love it

They will. I have the stream sluice with the power pig and run it with a 2inch semi-trash (necked down) and it catches some super fine stuff. Im in Western PA and all we have is fine glacial placer dust, and the mats will catch it, And the best part, no classifying! Feed the beast and itll do the rest.

I run a pair of stream sluices, a power pig, two flow pans, and the add on deluxe kit. I've modded my stream sluices so I can bolt both of them together, and run the high flow mat on top, and the low flow on the bottom. Absolutely kills fine gold! Have run the flow pan with beach sand and it will even nail that! Hint for the flow pan: Take along a squirt bottle to rinse the pan with.
