@@garagecedric Surprisingly, the shape of the Spyder's engine bay is just perfect for the intakes and there's actually more space in there than in an SW20 for an intake. It's going to get the standard 350whp setup so the long runner intake.

I was one of the ppl asking for the car. I get the frustrations that came with it in 2023 but the platform itself is so good and so underrated. I've driven all kinds of cars and this is by far the quickest steering car I have driven. And yes, i have driven an s2000 before.....but this car goes where you point it instantly. The rear mid engine layout is very unique feeling. I feel where this car excels is at something like autocross focusing on the suspension and handling bits. Have always wanted to see Marc finish a 2gr into a spyder (hes done sw20s before, the zz30 engine bay is a bit more cramped i believe) so i will track this closely!!! Good to see it back!!!

Ben, listen: This V6, a "staggered" wheel setup... Lambo proportions. Good spring/shock setup with a tuned sway bar... Try to make the car neutral, so you won't incur in snap oversteer with it. The light front might be a killer. It just need to be properly adjusted. Hope its helpful. The most important part is the staggered wheels. Some crazy large back one. Grounding that rear is the first step to adjust the rest. Cheers!

My brother built a 2gr MK3 Mr2 like you are now, it was INSANE sounded like a lancia stratos and used to walk R8 V10's down the straight at Silverstone... It looks dog stock too, hilarious car. I'm way too late to mention this. But I will anyways. The subframe of the P2 generation of Volvos bolts straight into the MR2. The engine sits in the correct position. The wheels line up. I haven't tried, but I'm told by various people. Can't beat that smooth 5cyl power delivery with overlapping powerstrokes and that beautiful rumble. Rods are the weak point, but they will make 500hp if you build power up top. 300HP with the standard turbo is doable too.
