I have been watching your videos for years and still learn stuff to help me with my jobs. I’m going to start washing the plastic beyond my panels and make sure I have a cup of coffee when I watch your videos. I should be getting my 1.1 tip any day now for my Walcom HTC Clear and I think I’ll try dropping my pressure from 29 to 27psi to get my metallics to lay better. Anyway, thanks again for making videos and sharing new tech and tricks.

Great painting skills! Job looks awesome Gabriel!💯On the first coat of clear stop about 2” away from the adjoining panel to minimize “refraction” especially on silvers…

Nice vid on 46G, as a certified tech rep, I would suggest when doing spray outs and comparing to the vehicle, make sure “up” is “up”, don’t compare the color sideways, especially on 46G

No need to reply Gabriel, but love you and your work. And in that order. Ha ha. Anyone else noticing this guy using BOTH hands with the gun. Not that easy to do, so it shows his mastery of the trade. Nice! BTW - you should have one-hundred times the views.

Not lowering the pressure works wonders with this color
@mrk85214 жыл бұрын
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS Yea not lowering the pressure is great advice. Makes a huge difference. I also tried another little experiment on the last one I sprayed. And took what was left of my 490 wet bed and added a little of the color to it. Maybe around 15-20%. And used that for my control coat. Just to see if it would kill the metallic even more. And it actually worked well enough and made the blend so seamless that ill probably continue doing it. It definitely got it even closer to that metal look of the factory paint.
@JR-ho5qm4 жыл бұрын
I’m always surprised at how the insurance companies allow blends off of bumpers for you guys in Ontario. Here in Saskatchewan we would be forced to butt match the bumper to the hood and fenders. Nice job!
