@@ShreddedDad I just ordered a Sissy Squat Machine because I thought it had an option to turn into a Roman Bench as well, however, I don't think it does. Also I bought it because it is small. After watching this video I might just send it back and order this bench.

Great review. I wanted to get either the Altas Roman Chair or Valor Fitness Roman Chair because that’s the style I’ve always been used to. I can’t pass up back extensions AND decline crunches, leg raises, and even a preacher curl station if I want to. Thank you!

you say weight capacity is 660 lbs but amazon says 1000 lbs? which is it? Also, the bench seems limit to limit the range of motion for back hyperextension. How would you compare to a regular hyperextension stand? How does it hold up over time? Thanks!

Thank you for this review. I notice there's a ~3" gap between the seat and the bench. Is that aggravating when doing sit-ups? Supposed I could stuff a rolled up towel in there. What's your experience with that?
@ShreddedDad2 жыл бұрын
That will depend on your height. I’m 5’7” and my butt touches the top of the seat right before the gap so it doesn’t affect me. But yeah, a rolled up towel might work if your butt happens to land there for sit ups
@bloop61112 жыл бұрын
My butt sits right on the gap 🥲 I’m so disappointed for this reason, v uncomfortable. I’ll just have to modify it with the towel method I guess lol. I’m 5’4” I’d recommend the flat one if it’s not worth the risk to sit on a gap.
@speekosloff2 жыл бұрын
@@bloop6111 Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm 5'10" and (so far) although my butt lands in the gap a bit, it hasn't been too bothersome - though the towel definitely helps.

Can you use it for a Nordic curl bench?
@ShreddedDad2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. I’ve actually been doing that recently. Remove the preacher curl pad and use the leg support rollers to hold your feet, then incline the back rest to start. As you get stronger, reduce the incline on the back rest. Good way to incrementally work on the skill.
@notthatguy1447 Жыл бұрын
When I sit on the seat it slants to the left, a lot. It won't remain level on the side that has no adjuster. Is this a design flaw or is it just mine? I am 6ft 4in, 268lbs. I really like the bench but this is unacceptable.
@ShreddedDad Жыл бұрын
Shouldn't have that slant. Contact the company and let them know about it.

That bench is alright. That hyper extension option is weak because it doesn’t allow enough range of motion for the exercise itself.
@ShreddedDad3 жыл бұрын
Personally I prefer a shorter range of motion and using a 45 degree bench vs a 90 degree bench because you can maintain constant tension on the low back throughout the exercise
