NBA Legends Reveal What They Really Think of Caitlin Clark
NBA legends have varying views on Caitlin Clark's talent and impact. While LeBron emphasizes staying humble, Steph Curry and others praise her game, likening it to his. She has broken records and gained immense respect, despite facing controversy. Some, like Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony, see her emotional play as a strength, while others, like Kevin Durant, consider her among the best. However, her exclusion from the women’s basketball Olympic team has sparked debate, with differing opinions on her merit. Overall, NBA players recognize Caitlin's greatness and the pressure she faces, with many believing she may become a once-in-a-generation player.

CC's "Triple Double" will even elevate her popularity. Nike is going to sell a boat load of shoes! Nike executives know a lot more about the VALUE of CC than the damn WNBA! They sure didn't waste their $28 million dollars bet on CC's success in the WNBA. But for some odd reason the GOAT of the WNBA was completely clueless! LMAO

I agree. Angel needs to clean up her inside shooting game, it's pitiful, which us why she gets soo many rebounds. Because they are her own rebounds cuz she cant hit a 3ft jumper or a contested layup at all. Her aim is bad. But so is 75% of the WNBA athletes.

It IS kind of absurd to put them in the same conversation as far as talents, skills ,and on court impact. However, it kind of makes sense as far as the story goes. One black hyped college champion winning over the white who was the best player in the NCAA. Come in the big league together with a rivalry and chip on the shoulder. Racial tensions and jealousy and pay checks and etc... This scenario is somewhat mirroring the men's game in '79-'80 to a degree, based on hype and hoopla and off court impact. The popularity is spiking from this soap opera.

Jason Kidd could do something like that with his passes too. Anyone with eyes can see Caitlin is the best woman player in the world, she can take over a game if she wants, but I think she's trying to be a team player, but I'm not sure her teammates will allow her. Caitlin is in between a rock and a hard spot, trying to please childish personalities. She's better than you, so realize that and move on, play with her and become part of history

The fact that it counts against HER when her team mates appear to blatantly try to NOT catch many of her passes is a joke. And some are using that stat to help the other rookie. (I HONESTLY don't know her name).

In 4:55 timeline, you mentioned how she plays with a ton of emotion. There is another video angle from behind the basket. If you watch it in slow motion, Caitlin was backing up, turned and accidentally bumped into the front of that player #35. 35 gave a quick jab towards Caitlin's throat. That's what triggered Caitlin's emotion.

It’s like some pianists, some guitarists, violinists etc. etc. and I watch that video and think, how do they do that. I’m talking all races. They mesmerize us with their skill set and it encourages our youth to strive for that ability. Caitlin Clark is amazing to watch and entertaining to watch. Unless someone biased on the opposing team doesn’t cripple her through their anger and jealousy, she will be the best known girl basketball players of all time. She’s great because she doesn’t really care about the money so much as how she loves the game. She hasn’t gotten where she by slacking off and getting into trouble with drugs because her mind is on the game and she is wonderful at it. Nuff said.

I think CC said it best when she said "I can't believe I have male fans." Or something along those lines, maybe not an exact quote. But, it just shows the pressure she has to deal with. Right or wrong, no WNBA player is compared to male league players. I thing she's a great thing for the sport. And she seems to be handling it well so far. As far as Angel Reese is concerned, I think she is crazy, crazy good. I love her style too. As for the Olympic squad, I'm fine with CC not being there this year. Give her and Angel some time. They have enough on their shoulders. I have a feeling we are going to see both of them at some point with Gold medals around their neck.

I only have 2 words for the veterans "TRIPLE DOUBLE" LMAO. Caitlin scored a "TRIPLE DOUBLE" against the current #1 WNBA team "New York Liberty" and she was only 1 rebound short of a triple double playing against Taurasi team Mercury! Revenge is a "dish best served cold" and CC is dishing it out to the veterans in the WNBA!!! It looks like CC is adapting MUCH FASTER then the veterans anticipated. CC has said she plays BEST when she is challenged and the veterans definitely challenged her!! Now CC is MORE popular then EVER! I guess the jealousy backfired on the veterans!
