Subies have 2 empty fuse slots in the internal fuse box , one has permanent 12v the other has 12v only when ACC is turned on , no need to tap into an occupied fuse slot

Any advice on how to keep the vantrue parking monitor on without draining or damaging the car battery?

It should be automatically monitored by the dash cam. Did you have issues with it?

oh wow.. I didn't hardwire the dash cam so I had no idea. maybe in the menu should have a low voltage cutoff.

Enjoying your videos! So which dashcam did you decide to go with in your OBW? Did you switch to the FinVu or stick with the VanTrue? It's unfortunate that the FinVu doesn't have a camera for the interior. I think that's the biggest reason why I like the other one more.
