i think mojang did a ton of behind the scenes optimizations for this update which is obviously infinitely harder than just creating new features but when i was coming up with ideas for this video i genuinely struggled to find 8 minutes worth of new features to make fun of

​@@fingees_YT There was the entire Trial Chamber- where the whole update is- with it's many rooms and unique traits. The whole ominous system revamp. As well as Vaults, Trial Spawners and their ominous variants. There's also the Mace but you had already made a video on that, same as Armadillo's features. It's been stated all of these were very complex to work on. The behind the scenes technical features would apply to everything in the update. Such a thing was even talked about a few times in the recent dev diaries. The main purpose of the update was combat adventures and setting up future ones, so it makes sense there's less in the way of certain types of things to parody like some other updates may have. Or the exact block count, which while still high in the amount of new ones was less of the focus compared to combat experiences. But you are right about the massive technical changes, the changelogs of everything they did in this dev cycle including such changes would go on for several hundred pages and that's discounting bugfixes and the many iterations before the snapshots, many things we didn't see. This was a pretty massive update.
