your just saying that because you probably have a tech deck with grip on it. If you knew what rip feels like you would know it's a little better than grip because it doesn't cut you. i've used grip on my tech deck before and it gave me theese big blisters on my fingers that were cut and bleeding. with rip it's nice , soft, scuishy, grippy, and doesn't cut your fingers like regulair griptape does.
