Randall Carlson is a living legend and the wisest teacher I've ever come across. I had the great privilege to go on two geology tours with him this year. I learned more in those few weeks than I did in all my years of college. There is no substitute for getting out in the field and experiencing this stuff first hand. Much of the trip was not recorded, but thankfully we had a camera rolling when Randall gave this talk in the late hours of the night, by the fire, under the desert stars. This video is a short glimpse into the great wealth of knowledge that Randall possesses. If you want to go on a geology expedition with Randall, here is a link to future trips contactatthecabin.com/ (I will be joining a few of these as well) If you enjoyed this video and want to help create more, please consider supporting After Skool on Patreon www.patreon.com/AfterSkool Don't lose your sense of wonder. Thank you!

Person reading this, if you haven't had a chance, head over to his channel after watching this for some great talks on geology, cosmic events, and their effects on the people who would have been living here at the time. Be warned, he goes off topic often but is still a joy to listen to. Edit: The collection of clips for the meteor are incredible. We are never too far away from extinction. We had best make the most of our time here. Unfortunately greed, envy, avarice, hubris, anger and hatred are never too far from our goal of peace, empathy and love. Our current climate of fear demonstrates this perfectly. Thank you! *In a greater context,* the world is *a place where you have come to serve, to give and to reunite with those whom you are destined to meet, to know and to participate with.* This definition, though universally true, is a truth that is not accessible to many human beings at this stage of development, for they are much too focused on survival and gratification to be able to see its importance. However, even as you grasp this idea and begin to experience it within your own range of relationships and understanding, *it opens up a whole new panorama, a greater vista where things can be seen and known which could not be seen and known before.* From: *Greater Community Spirituality* Chapter 2: What is the world? by *Marshall Vian Summers*

You are absolutely right on being focused on survivor mode. It makes it hard to focus on other aspects of life when you are in the streets fighting to survive. The question is how did I get here? Was it my own doing? Did I actually just say one day I'm done, or was I pushed to the edge of a cliff and pushed over it? I find it funny how I got here. While Joe blow was pushing me over the cliff, he was handing MY gold (My son) to another. When Larry was sent in to destroy what I was trying to restore and beat me up some more, then I tried to escape again, and Mikel was sent in, then trying to escape again (all the while trying to maintain my health) another was sent in to wake me from my sleep every night and upset my good habits. So you see when you keep trying to swim and survive sharks are waiting to attack around every corner

Always love a good After Skool video, they have been a source of light in somewhat dimmer times. From Randall Carlson to Jordan Peterson to Ram Dass, I don't think there is a single name I could list that has failed to enlighten me with some form of new information or some form of encouragement. Also, "Distances not to scale" had me laughing a bit when I was reading the labels around the 8:00 mark.

I feel so much better knowing rocks are falling on my head. Recently saw one, seemed to emanate from gemini, 2 days before geminids, tought it would fall down so I waited for a noise, seemed to have desintegrated about 10Kms from surface.

Nice way to present this out under the open sky by a fire. Our ancestors in the same scenario thousands of years ago telling stories of how they knew their world.

1:48 - Notice the prominent mushroom shape on the door. Christianity fused with the (psychedelic mushroom) shamanic druidism of Europe. (See 'Green Man'). 6:46 - Excellent representation.

Randall is my hero, and easily the greatest Baby Boomer there ever was. Randall’s channel GeoCosmicRex and his Podcast with The Snake Bros are excellent! His “Intro to the mysteries” classes should be required viewing for all enlightened Humanity! Thanks, After Skool for posting this!

I love that this man looks identical to Uncle John, I love that man, he's so burly but has the best voice so calming and caring. His body language and face makes every conversation with him feel like he's genuinely curious or better yet vested totally. So normally he would have Long conversations lol But this man is truly brilliant. And I'm embarrassed at how he's treated. Although it's gotten better, but the extent at which he's been belittled boggles the mind. It will be many years before he's gotten the credit that he deserves. Although he just wants the truth to be known, not being recognized 🤷

AWESOME TALK! Randall Carlson brings this broad and complex subject down to the level that almost anyone above the age of 15 should be able to understand and get that we live on a miraculous bubble in time. This time has been granted to us to build something greater than just a weekend at Bernie's. We all need to buckle down and focus on what to do to insure our progenies continuance in this universe. If we don't, we will only have ourselves to blame.

The probability of being born. Is roughly 1 in 400 trillion (or more). You are a miracle, an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention. You are the embodiment of magic. They teach us otherwise and we have forgotten how special we really are. Remember your innocence as a baby, remember the unconditional love you held, remember your truth. Live life through this miracle energy and watch your life transform 💜 Heart-Based Manifestation KZbinr

Absolute truth and more sublime artwork. And i can assure you that nothing will impact the Earth, at least not until our work here is done and balanced has been restored, but i feel once we achieve that there will be no need for such devastation ever again.

all we have to do as a species is change our perspective on what intelligent life is and we will become more intelligent. All life wants to live. All life wants to expand. All life wants to connect to all other life. I don’t understand why the common sense that all life is one and the same was erased from the majority of humanity. Life is crazy interesting, but most of us choose to be normally bored.
