Yeah mashed potatos is My fav. too. Really simple to make too 1kg of potatos 2,5dl cooking Cream/milk Lots of butter Salt Boil potatos Take water out Add Cream n Salt n butter Smash em with handpotatomasher inside pot, not with machine. Puree IS not same. If u dont have potatosmasher, just drink wine or Beer, put clean plasticbg over bottom and use The bottle to crash potatos. I make it weekly. Best with reindeer meat cooked with dark Beer.

Speaking as an Irish woman who has had bowls of just mash and butter and salt almost every week (more than once a week too) I beg to differ. There are those of us out here who do LOVE mashed potato and if anyone tried to give me only 2 scoops they would be in big trouble lol Well done Adam, of course I had no doubt you would do this with no trouble at all

@@journeyoflife9159 I eat a fair bit when that is all I am having but don't get me wrong, I don't eat those large amounts every day and I don't eat them in those amounts as a side. Also, I only add a splash of milk, a nob of butter and some salt. Generally here in Ireland that is how mashed spuds are served. We don't add cream of any kind or a cup or more of milk or any cheese, just spuds, a tblsp or so of butter and less than a quarter cup of milk. Plain simple mashed potatoes :)

This is a subject very important to me and my family as my husband suffered a hemorrhagic stroke 11 years ago on his birthday (December 11th, 2012)….in 2019 he suffered 2 more strokes; Only because of God….he had a successful cardiac ablation in 2020, with amazing doctors and nurses and his strong will to recover we just celebrated his 62nd birthday, our 43rd anniversary and we’re looking forward to celebrating another Christmas and New Year 🙏🏻❤️ God bless you all 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

London Parsley Liquor was originally made from the water used to boil jellied eels, it should be a rich, salty, oily stock which, when mixed with parsley (or other herbs but parsley was most abundant) made a uniquely flavoured sauce to put over pie and mash.

I hope I can try it one day. The last time I tried Pie and Mash with liquor was at Goddard's in Greenwich London. Everything was bland, including the liquor. The lamb and mushroom pie with gravy inside however was a little bit more seasoned than the beef pie.
