So here is a question from not rich and retired in SC. I need to replace a front door on my modular house. They tell me I can only use one made for a mobile home. These are ugly and over priced so can I use a regular house door? No one seems to think it can be done, can it be done?
@oscarlandag18313 жыл бұрын
You can but you’ll need to do some framing the standard house door will be bigger and deeper. It can be done though.
@Lonewolf23-263 жыл бұрын
Agreed usually model home doors aren’t 80inches mine was 76 I was able to find a decent door for it but the mobile I own is 2x6 construction as well. Some of your older mobiles aren’t and the depth of a house door may be deeper than your walls. Like Rotos said it can be done just have to frame the spot for the door if possible

Yes, you punch each item off of the list as you complete it. It’s just construction jargon for the little details at the end of a job. Often the contractor has to complete these to receive his final (or holdout) payment.

I don't think PVC is Tommy's was first choice for this. The PVC toe kick she wanted looks cheap, it's to thick and sticks out far in places. Should of just sanded and painted it, or maybe use 1/4" birch plywood.
