The glove? You're doing a Nick Shibbaz, when his eczema plays up. These folders are growing on me. I was kinda freaked by the Pterydactyl look when it was closed. But I'm beginning to really like them. The outstanding component quality has always been a "I might buy one of these" swayers. Very nice mate.

What grinder would you recommend for beginner knifemaker? Is a 1 x 30 belt grinder good, or prefferably something else? -Greetings from Belgium!

Dont bother with the smaller less powerful grinders to start with (I would say the minimum is a 2x42 with at least 1hp). Me and many others have made the mistake of getting a shit, small and cheep grinder to start with. Get some good files and make a file jig/bevel jig. from experience, this will give MUCH better results and once you do get a better grinder one day you will have useful tools instead of a shity grinder taking up space.

whatever you can afford really. Just be prepared anything under about a 1000 is going to be pretty shitty and you'll want something better

Yeah, that's probably true but I have seen people make pretty good knives with them but even if it is shitty, I can make the knives so that's the most important part :)

Looking good as always. I've been "working" on a friction folder for months. I keep forgetting about it, one day (hopefully)it'll get finished. I'd like to try a frame lock too, someday, haha. That little swedge is pretty kool. Take it easy.
