I think that if you used foil for the mirror at the bottom there would not be visible "cut" in the ladder... but not the less great project, super nice and intriguing to have.

Agreed, but this whole Instructable was inspired because my wife was throwing out the bottom mirror. If I was building one of these for someone I would consider getting a first surface mirror.

I got it from my local glass and mirror centre near me. Nothing special, you can get the same stuff from Amazon.

First you need to choose an idea for the infinity mirror technology; Then you need to put an ordinary mirror on the bottom of the box, and put a glass tinted with a mirror film on top... In theory, that’s all, nothing more is required
