I've made a few tables, and I used one-way mirror film on the bottom of glass top. With the mirror part facing down.

@@maxpower5362 Thanks I found out you can do it with film... Although its diffficult to get a very clear optical reflection. For that you need a mirror coated on the front side with a very thin layer deposit, and its very delicate, so one with a special protective surface would be required. You can't really clean it either, so you have to protect it from dust and the possibility of being touched. It's typically used to make smart TVs or depending on the reflective levels, for security screens/glass. You can get it on acrylic and perspex also. It can get very expensive though, especially if you need to import it - so my recommendation would also be to try the film... unless you are realllly particular and have lots of money to spend.

@James-fe7wd I used a piece of tempered glass. Though not necessary. I bought the film at a commercial window tint store and asked for one-way mirror film with grey side adhering to the glass and mirror side facing down in the box. I'm making two more tables now to sell.
