Really enjoying this series! I’ve never painted a mini in my life but this gives me hope that Speed Paints can be very beginner friendly. Will have to try out on other minis before going all out on my Marvel United though.

I have all of my Marvel United minis primed (about 100 of them) and of those, about 25 are painted. Each one has taken me around 4 hours or so to paint up with regular paints. I've finally splurged on buying the Army Painter Speed Paint Mega Set which will come tomorrow. Hopefully, this will allow me to blast through these at about 30 minutes each. Those Sentinels were a blast to paint, by the way. I used metallic colors on them and they really stand out.

It takes me about 45mins or so to paint them while recording. If I didn't have to worry about keeping my hand in the shot, 30mins per mini is a realistic time. Make sure you shake the daylights out of the speedpaint when using it. They separate quickly.

Thanks for the video! Could you please share the colors / instructions that you’ve used for Beast and Mystique?

Beast was Magic Blue for the body, Cloudburst Blue for his Trunks and Grim Black on the base. Mystique is Magic Blue skin, Holy White dress, Slaughter Red hair, Pallid Bone skulls and Grim Black base

I can only afford spray paint primer, so for the color should I do grey primer or white primer? Or another color if you have a suggestion

@AChaChaMan if you can dry brush a white or lighter color over the dark primer to still get a zenithal effect, go dark. If not, go with white, either way, the Speed Paint will look good.

Awesome, thanks for watching me paint. I did Iron Man and watered the metallic silver color on my wet palette, nothing crazy thin. I used blood red and sand golem to get a nice metallic red and gold finish.

Overly loud intro, annoying music throughout video, hard to see model with poor lighting, but great commentary and interesting content. I hope that there has been progress with more recent videos as I would like to see more (content and the actual model being painted)
