Since those bolts are brass, you can even drill an opening into the top for the hand crank to drop down into.

Hey Mark,I’m pretty new to You Tube, I really enjoyed this chassis build, and learned a lot. I primarily build Drag cars, and can’t wait to try your techniques. I normally visit Model Cars Magazine forum and have posted some of my builds there, but the following seems to have really dropped off, so I started looking for other venues. My wife suggested You Tube and I honestly thought she was crazy, but turns out she was right. Thank for you your channel and I’ve subscribed.

I love your work and how you explain it. I used your method of cutting fenders to fix my Torino I’m working on. Looking forward to seeing your process for making floor pans. I am applying some of your techniques in my current contest build. I cut the molded spring buckets and replaced with aluminum ones and made control arm mounts. Next I’m going to build control arms😬. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! Keep the video’s coming.
