I love watching these because it’s very obvious how much you care about making a game actually fun. Turned out great dude

I completely agree! when you're about to finish the game all you have to do is fix bugs which can get boring and it can be annoying to look at the code after a while I would say sometimes I get really frustrated when working on a game because something isn't working and it can be really hard for me to just say "I'll take a break" because I wanna get it done and when I go off to do something else I usually spend a few hours just looking around on social media

Great to see another devlog! Quick comment about the Arabic translation, the name of the language is broken up (it should look like the other words on screen), and since Arabic is an RTL language, most UIs mirror along the Y axis for Arabic (which is what most Arabic users are used to). Great work, and keep it up!

Did I say that? Well, it’s good to have optimistic goals, right? 😅 The game has really benefited from the extra time tho!

Dude, please take your time. We all know what happens to a rushed and panic-released game. The wait will be worth it.

Time to finish game from 90% to 100% is more than the time take for 0 to 90% game

I bought the game and am playing through it right now (world 7 currently), I love the game but some feedback for the point in the powerups chapter in this video (1:06). I quite dislike the feature where you have to unlock abilities to use them in earlier levels. it appears to me like most secrets which aren't secret exits require those unlockable abilities, and what this feature does it disincentivizes me from properly exploring the levels on my first run through the world, because odds are I cannot interact with what I find anyway. for most worlds I rushed and only played enough levels to reach the world stop sign. if you wanted sections involving later powerups in earlier worlds, separate _challenges_ that only unlock later (and a little message with "new challenges are now available in earlier worlds!") would have been a better choice imo. enough criticism, I don't want to forget to mention that I absolutely love the game, it's endlessly charming, I love the customizability and the creativity in your level design! just wanted to give feedback on this point

I have two notes and one piece of constructive criticism! 1: So glad it’s coming to Switch! 2: When the demo releases on Steam, I’ll let you know how it runs on Steam Deck! 3: The constructive criticism! You SHOULD use the rendered 3D art for the key art, but please make it brighter, it looks too dim in its current form! Add just that one change and I think it’ll be perfect - really looking forward to the game and I hope the release goes well for you!

How did you handle the localisation? did you use any tools or plugins?
@WalaberEntertainment

I have my own scripts for that. I use a Google sheet exported as a CSV and then some scripts to replace each string with the localized text, and insert controller prompts etc
