I've been wanting to do more videos of the handmade marlin lure head making. Here's a short one on finishing one of my large cupped face heads. Over time I want to show the whole process from turning a master, pouring a mold, coming up with an insert, and casting the head.

They would make great cane tops, bottle stoppers, door handles and all sorts. Look very cool indeed 👍❤️

Yeah. My niece asked for a bottle stopper out of one. I think it will be pretty cool.

Those are so pretty! I know they are lures, but they don't have to be! 😁

Hey David! Wanted to thank you for sharing this video. Excellent results, clearly explained and *refreshingly direct to the point* (wish more youtubers would buy a clue on that deal - “WHY do I need to watch some dude talk for 20 minutes in an aim to attain knowledge which is conveyed in seconds?!” You rule, thank you for not being “that guy” and instead being one of the good ones.

If you made smaller ones, they could be earrings! 😁

Unfortunately I think they might be a little large for that.

Here kind of tube do you use and the measurements?
@WebfootResinandWoodCreations

The tubing on this larger head is 1/8 inch OD. The length I have to use for my handmade molds is 4 inches. It's just a common brass tubing I get from Granger
