Thought I'd already commented, but can't see it ... Apologies if I have and it's just hidden, came back to add something. Crafting and reading are a perfect cross over for me, I often crochet when watching booktube and love seeing your makes, I'm still too chicken to do garments. Since I've just finished mirror and the light last week (thanks to the Ben miles audio recommendation from you) it feels like a vlog just for me 😁. Bind-off - not a knitter but pretty sure there are a variety of bind-offs you can do, there are a specific stretchy ones, same as multiple cast on merhods, there definitely more than one way, so keep trying until you get the one that works for you. Patterns correctly graded for different sizes, this is where the planning bit comes in, on ravelry (under projects) or instagram (using hashtag), search for people's makes And see what it looks like on different body shapes and sizes also some designers will include pics from their testers which if they have done it properly will include people for all of the sizes they are designing for. Can't suggest any knit designers though as I'm not a knitter, but a crocheter, so only know the ones from there that do.

@@jillybeanh67 oh I'm glad you re-commented because I don't remember seeing your original one! So glad you've been enjoying the Ben Miles audiobooks too - I've just started Bring up the Bodies today (doing a hybrid read - part physical and part audio) and loving it just as much so far. I'll have to get practising with some different bind offs. I think I've found a couple of alternative ones that look stretchier 🙏🙏

@hannahlosttheplot probably me forgetting to press send/post. For bringing up the bodies I didn't find it hard at all to just read physical, but mirror and the light felt much more inside Cromwell's head and stream on consciousness, or to me it did so the last 40% was done both audio and reading with my eyes simultaneously to keep my attention focused since I was behind the crawlalong. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the trilogy. I'm heading back to war and peace in January, fell off the slow read bandwagon for that in February last year as I prioritised the wolf hall one instead as I found I couldn't do 2 at the same time.

@jillybeanh67 yes I definitely struggled the year I tried to do both War and Peace and a Les Mis slow read (made worse by how much I hated Les Mis 😅) I've absolutely smashed through Bodies in two days 💪
