man seeing you not get beamed by the goons running by the convoy, scav bunker and the lake with the boat made me feel like the most unlucky person in the world lol first woods raid i spawned by the convoy for search mission and got chased down by the goons across the map.

ong loaded into a woods raid for my jager note had a mosin, spawned and instantly got shot at I thought it was an audio bug at first because you know how tarkov was, but then my screen blurred up and I knew I was getting shot at then got domed by birdeye

If u spawn up near the lake and the church it’s pretty much instant death by the goon squad

I had this happen 2 raids in a row -carrying a mosin too for the Jaegar quests. Died on one and managed to kill one and haul ass on the other

Their high spawn rate has been really oppressive... I'm lvl 43 and still haven't finished Signal :(

I loaded in and instantly lost and arm. Ran away toward church to heal and those suckers chased me down. I now know to expect that.

I think the only time I spawned there with them I managed to kill them. I killed Birdseye and Knight but Bigpipe ran and hid somewhere, hobbled to car right away since I went in without meds.

Woods is the most deadly map for me. Scavs, PMCs, and goons laser me through trees all the time lol

A month later and I began to play PvE, and I find woods is my Safest. Odd how that works haha

I couldn't play the PvE for that reason, the AI is just incredibly bad. SPT + SAIN + That's Lit is all you need. Completely redefines and rebalances AI behavior (heavily customizable) and That's Lit adjusts so shadows, foliage, trees, etc. hides you from AI as long as you're not within their sight.

In PVE - Woods is very variable on how busy it is. Ive been on a map that was just popping off everywhere and one that utterly silent almost everywhere.

dont forget about the blue folder spawns (2) at USEC camp!! if you are going up there you might as well take a peek

90% of my woods raids are like this, just running around hoovering up loot and picking off the odd scav. The other 10% of runs are spawning in the top corner near USEC, bunker or the lake in direct Line of sight of Goons. If I'm not dead immediately, the sound of the fighting draws in the entire map and 20 minutes later I'm out of ammo, meds and starting the slow painful limp across the map to extract with all my limbs blacked out.

Anyone else notice the Elcan in checkpoint shack (7:26)? Might've been a Vulcan, pretty sure it was a Spectre though. I've noticed a lot of people don't check that spawn on the floor to the left, typically optics or suppressors

Can confirm that when I play Woods that small camp near the sawmill gets hit up by a 2 man or 3 man group of A.I. PMC's as soon as the round starts.

No Goons when you go close to Scav bunker😅. My 2 first Raids on woods to day was..... Spawn close to the scav bunker and Goons kill me after 20sec😂😂.

My first second raid on woods was the same route that pest took, up until he went down the hill towards scav camp. Goons got me crossing over.

I think I got that same spawn for my first woods PVE raid. Spawned in PACA mosin, looked off too the distance and saw the goons beelining towards me within 10 seconds

I can't wait for BSG to do as they said and integrate mod support. Being able to tune the AI, adjust their spawn points/frequency, and set individual profile/behavior types for them is absolute magic. You get giga chads, W keyers, rats, etc. A lot of times can't even tell you're playing offline.

BSG really ought to literally copy and paste the code of the one AI mod that someone made for SPT. They have life like pathing, they have unique fighting personalitys, they fight eachother, progressive loot and leveling if you choose too. Some of those mods are insanely good. Pve in it's current state is like pre alpha level shit.

The most disturbing thing about Tarkov for me is the amount of unrefrigerated milk lying everywhere, and PMCs will just... drink it! There is a good chance that milk is turning into cheese, you don't drink it, you eat it with crackers! PMCs either have cast iron guts or they're playing Russian Roulette with their bowels and frequently have the heaving shits.

Goons are the easiest IF you know they're onto you. All they do is W key so find a defensive position and get ready to full auto.

Hard disagree on the looting and staying in the area. I'd love to see more movement across the map from PMC's and scavs, have them get into more gunfights, and have pmc vs pmc gunfights. An argument could be made "well go to pvp tarkov noob", but if bsg would be able to make it slightly more immersive witb proper gunfights and lootsplosions, i feel like tha game would be in an outstanding place for both pvp enjoyers and the casual player

Has nothing to do with skill. He got lucky with a raid with no goons and no bullshit. It doesn't matter how good you are if you spawn anywhere near the goons who seem to show up like 90% of the time. And with the PMCs and scavs not shooting each other half the time some of us are running into massive groups of AI that will constantly rush you down if you shoot at all. That's what people mean when they say it's been harder for them. A more accurate term would be "bullshit". It wasn't like this before.
