Finishing in Las Cruces-The Monumental Loop New Mexico-Episode 4

Matt Mason invited me down for the DangerBird bikepacking event and I said, YES! Over 100 people rode the 250 mile Monumental Loop over the course of about 4 days. Some went fast, some went slow, everyone had fun! In this episode, I wake up in the dark and get rolling early, severe wind warnings spur the hustle. After a beautiful sunrise, I meetup with Kyle and Aaron, we jump a train track and head home to Las Cruces.

I'm so inspired by your contagious love of life and the epic journeys I see you on that it motivated me to go and buy a mountain bike to get back into it. What an epic experience and the Monumental loop is something that I deffiently want to put on my bucket list. It was wondering to see people of all abilities, enjoying the New Mexico bikepacking loop. The sense of community, that is forged in an event like this is really what inspires us to continue to do amazing things. I am glad you had some more summer time and we're able to sleep under the stars, in the "land of enchantment."
