I zoom in with goggle maps with the "little man" icon to check the shoulders' width on highways. Which can make all the difference hell and heaven and even life and death. A bad busy road with no shoulders [like S. Indiana] . NYS had some smooth beautiful highways with broad shoulders if you want to leave the Canal/Empire trail for while..... The hardest part is leaving your driveway, but you only live once....

I got to ask, 'A swell night out' vs. 'white rim trail,' in a day, would they be fairly equivalent?

Excellent video Ryan. More like these please. No need to talk. No need for music. Can’t improve on the sounds of nature. No crashies, no flaties, no whammies, no talkies, no tunies.

i had no relationship with my dad. He was a self absorbed individual. Can honestly say he didn't teach me anything that helped me in life. We never had a heart to heart conversation. He died 14 years ago and i don't miss him one bit.

Unfortunately cycling took my friend's life, or rather, a car did. Where I live it's very scary for cyclists, people drive big and they drive fast. I already gave it up because it was scary, now that my friend died I don't know if I'll ever be able to cycle like I used to.

Ryan, as a New Mexican, and fellow cyclist who has explored much of this state, this has to be one of my favorite videos that you’ve made. I’m biased as a resident, but you show off the beauty and remoteness of the central Rio Grande valley so well. Just off the interstate corridor is vast terrain and sights to take in. I might have to ride the Off Roadrunner down to Monumental Loop next year.

Nice video. Being Swedish I was glad you mentioned Allemansrätten that gives us the right to camp and walk very freely in nature. But it also comes with the responsibility to respect its limits, like you can camp one night, you can’t cut down trees etc. I wish every country had it because it means an immense freedom and one I miss abroad.

I just stood up and gave you a standing ovation. 100 miles is just huge. Congrats Duzer...
