95 degrees and humid....you'll find me in with the heifers and dry cows under the giant fan. That looks comfortable. I hope they don't mind my lawn chair. Thanks once again Eric & Dad for all the hard work put in both in farming and filming. It really is neat to be "by your side" on the farm.

hope your cab has a/c. here in MT we are still getting below 30 degrees at night. 10 days ago we had over a foot of snow and crazy winds. after that we've had 2 + inches of rain. so thankful for the water! Gods blessings on your land and crops.

Thanks for the different views with the camera. We get a better perspective of how the different seeding and fertilizing is done. Barn floor maintenance is very interesting also. So much planning and thought goes into maintaining the floor. That new tractor has some cool accessories. Stay safe.

Keeping this tilled would be good, you want to keep air mixed in or “aerobic”. If it smells bad it’s anaerobic and is simply rotting. Adding wood chips would be beneficial as to make good compost you need “brown” material and while manure is brown in color it’s actually counts as the green material. 4X more brown than green when blended. Also pickup a cheap non-contact thermometer. If done right, you should see warmth from the breakdown process. I was making compost from my horse manure in one yard bins, typically saw 135 degrees inside the pile. Love your content.

What’s neat about injecting the liquid fertilizer is the process also provides some aeration to the soil which has to help… especially with the foliage crops.

really like the look of that Massey tractor.... it looks so modern. Almost Transformer-ish. Can't wait to see the meadow pasture situation for the dry cows and heifers. Also curious to see how the manure injection works out on this year's corn crop compared to just spreading it.

With the price of diesel at an all time high, this time of the season must be pretty expensive. Hopefully, milk prices will support this. Well, as a dairy product user, not too high. That’s the problem with energy prices, it effects everything.

That’s a lot of manure to haul how many days since you hauled out manure in the calf barn? Cool like those shirt’s . May need another fan close to the front of building to keep bedding dry. When you build this barn love how it’s set up inside . Did you ever think of putting electric window’s up above to open and close in the winter time! That would be nice to have a pasture by the calf barn. Thank you for sharing your videos Eric and like that tractor you drive.

Eric here's and Idea about roto tilling the barn, since you like to tinker with the welder you should make 5 shanks that will bolt to the skidsteer bucket, you can back drag with the skidsteer and open up that pack down bedding. Just a thought.

With all that you fellows have to do, I think your way under paid. I think most folks appreciate what us farmers do to bring quality farm products to them at a reasonably low cost. That said, it sure would be nice if we were paid the same price adjusted costs when inflation, or the standard cost of living increases. Anyway, I think you guys are awesome and I appreciate all you do. Thanks for the videos and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Hey I have a thought for you if you get a snowblower attachment if you clear just enough out down the entire length for the manure wagon you could have your dad back in with the manure wagon and just load it with the snowblower attachment just a thought maybe least one this winter or over the summer from a rental place you might get a good deal and see if you wanna buy it so you can modify the spout a little once again just my thoughts might save you a little bit of time and make that whole job of cleaning out bedding a lot easier from your low ceiling heifer barn or your special-needs penn

When you are cleaning out your barns, keep all 4 wheels on the ground. Lift boom up and tilt bucket forward. Also try not to break traction once you spin your not getting any forward pressure. When possible don’t spin around, arc your turn. Maybe it will help with not wearing tires out. My guess is that the rear tires wear out very fast. Hope this helps. I don’t miss watching your channel, keep up the good entertainment!
