Shirring elastic knitted in with rib is wonderful to hold a band firm but you can also weave it through the rib post-make. Despite the challenges, its a fun project and was good to have you back. I do enjoy the story you tell and the way you film.

Thank you so much! And I'll keep that in mind, should it come to that. I decided I may one day reknit the waistband as well, since it already stretched out, and the elastic would definitely help there.

Hi Lindsay, excellent job! Just a thought, maybe you could sew some elastic thread to the inside of the armhole opening to tighten it up.

Hi Lindsay! I recently made my own knitting chart and experienced the same flattening of the pattern. If you wanted a faster way to do it next time, take the ratio between your stitch and row gauge, and use that number to scale the final design/canvas size in the program you're using (in this case, scale up the number of rows). You got an awesome result :D
