I was thinking the Volvo would have made a great first car for Nick. Tinting the windows would make it look really sharp.

Looks great! A woman down the street from me has one, silver in color. Any time I've walked by it, never saw any rust on it. Lived on my street for 8 years and I have only seen it on the road 2 or 3 times...and really? 500 to 700!? Your car is easily worth a hell of a lot more than that.
@The_Laser_Channel6 ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly...in my opinion, any car that runs and drives is worth at least $1000....maybe even more with working A/C like this one...plus its a Volvo, those things are built like tanks!!
@Ebbsilen5 ай бұрын
A base model wagon i purchased right before it was crushed at the junkyard costed me 1500. A turbo 850 in that shape? That thing is probably at least worth what the auction estimates. If i knew how such things works, i would bid on it and that would not be a small offer.

A common problem with ABS in almost all Volvos is hidden in the ABS block, you need to open and solder all the contacts again. I had a similar problem on the S80 and it was solved with a soldering. I took longer to open the ABS block.

Yep, I had to resolder mine on my S70 too. Common problem and easy fix.
@adrianowen65245 ай бұрын
It's the abs sensor that maybe needs replacing or maybe it got wet after the cleaning try giving the sensor plug a good clean first see if the light goes off if you gona change the sensor before sending her away might do the trick for you man! ✨🗽✨👍👍👍✨🏴

Nooo are you crazy ?? In my country they ask between 4000 and 6000 euro for a 850 T5 from this age !! So if I'm not mistaken that would be between 4300 and 6700 dollar. Btw you make the grey plastics from the bumpers black again with a hair dryer, or just use some tire black or plastic shine on it.

Can you do a video on the process of how to become certified with copart to be able to resell vehicles ?
@TheSaltyExplorer5 ай бұрын
You can buy and sell with Copart as an individual. To do it as a business, you need to register a business in your state (and possibly county and municipality), get a business license and/or dealer license, register a tax ID with the IRS., open a business bank account. Then you can create a business account with Copart. Making a video on how to do that would be a bad idea since the requirements vary greatly between states, counties, cities, your situation, etc but I just listed the basics.

That Volvo looks awesome! If I had the extra cash to buy it, I would. Shit, I would trade my immaculate 266k mile '07 Honda Fit for it. 😂😂😂😂 I know for a fact that a 27 year old Volvo with 140k miles will make the trip from Oklahoma to Atlanta, GA. Although I am a Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus purist, I always have stood behind old Volvos because they are just as reliable as Hondas and Toyotas. I love the Volvo 850 and 960 models. Randy, you would get all of my attention if you did find a 1995-1997 Volvo 960 with the 2.9L Straight Six.

I don't know if sending it back to auction is the right move. You would probably do better with that on on a private sale. An older car in nice shape and a reasonable price should attract plenty of buyers.

I think he said his dealer license limits his ability to sell retail. I think he can only wholesale through the auction.

I'll bet you got water in the wheel speed sensor while washing it. Hopefully it dries out and turns off for the new owner.
@TheGewidener5 ай бұрын
That’s exactly right. Or there is exposed wiring on a connector and water got into the connector. At least it doesn’t ding and kill the power like GM cars when a wheel speed sensor doesn’t jive with the computer.
