The history is very interesting. Thank you! The reed fencing around the girls is great! We use the same around our girls. The reed fencing cuts down on the wind and is a natural material. The sound of the rain on the greenhouse is nice!

I 😂 my head off about the council & the pipe work. It’ll end being one guy to dig the hole, one guy to do the plumbing, a guy fill in hole & one to turn stop tap back on. Only autumn raspberry I know is Autumn Bliss. That shilling & the groat look exceptional.

Good evening Sean well you wasn't wrong three guys turned up and the man mounting who snapped the pipe tried to blame everyone but himself and then he rounded the stop tap value so we couldn't turn the water back on...

Hi Mark, Good grief! What a mess the council made of the water pipe, That's ridiculous. Love the history of the canals & the industrial revolution, I watch a few narrow boat vlogs on YT. Shame about the young chap that lost his life. It looks spot on now with the green roof & reed fence, I hope the chickens appreciate it & lay more eggs for you. 🐓🥚🥚🥚 i'm going to get some more raspberry canes as this is the third year my strawberries have been destroyed by those vine weevil grubs, I picked handfuls of grubs out of themm yesterday & threw them to the blackbirds, They made short work of them. I'm giving strawberries a rest this year as it's a losing battle at present. 😠 Thanks for the video Mark.

Hiya Mark n Ms Buttercup, haha salford council, my stoopid council think they can drain water up hill. Why don't they go back to closest tap and put a gate valve in? Sad about the drowning, was good he was found quickly unlike poor Nicola Bulley (sp) . The long boats look great. Hope all those bridges don't come to grief like the Keys bridge in Baltimore. The aquaduct info was interesting. 👍

Hi Mark and lovely Buttercup ❤ that's awful, having no water! Ours has just been switched on and had a problem with the hand basin tap outside the toilet but, its now fixed by our chair & site secretary, not the council. Otherwise, we would be waiting like yourselves. The tap was an easy fix, but yours isn't, and I hope it gets sorted ASAP. I'm so sad about the guy in the water 😢. Very interesting, mason markings. Tomatoes are doing well. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊

Good afternoon Christine Has you know we have no water and no toilets and the growing season is in full swing, I used to fix the bursts but after i resigned they side they would get the council to come and fix the burst, Sadly they made it even worse and it doesn't look like there is a lot going on into fixing the problem at the moment, I'm having to bring fresh water for buttercup and the chickens every single day...Its coming up to 5 months with out water...

With the marks on the stones do you think that may be it is a family mark and not just a one person. Do you have a family history group in Salford they may have more info. Cheers Pam in Melbourne Australia 16C 9.30am Thanks
