Great video, thanks for posting it! I just love how you two give each other a bit of stick, e.g. the debate over the naming rights for the shark - great to see Isabelle can give it as good as she gets it. :) Also, you might want to check your radio. Try a comms check - not with a boat next door, as that can give you misleading results, but over a bit of distance (e.g. a few km). I was surprised that the other vessel couldn't hear you on Very Ho-hum Frequency at that range.

Congratulations! Hint: there is no reason to be sailing dead downwind. Your sails are just parachutes and don't develop lift. You should be sailing your downwind polars which should be some 120-140 degrees apparent or so. Sailing your polars ensures that you are making the best speed towards downwind even though the distance is longer.

Congratulations! What a sail. I think sailing across the Indian Ocean may be the worst due to no wind. Maybe that will affect your future plans. KZbin Channel "Sailing Yacht Florenc has been trying to get across it with no luck, turning back, also getting huge Indonesia experience with COVID (stuck around a year). You might quickly see their channel if you haven't already to familiarize yourself more in that region of the world, should you be thinking of circumnavigating.
