How do I sterilize the Polishing Burs and the other Burs?

In the sterilizer like the handpieces. The discs are disposable and cannot be sterilized.

When I use the finishing disc it sometimes jump out of the mandrel on the floor ? Do you know why this happens? Am I doing something wrong

What I can think of is probably the disc was not inserted well on the mandril, or maybe too much hand pressure is applied on the tooth, or the hand piece is too fast. Try making sure it is inserted well on the mandril and decreasing the hand pressure when using it as very light touch is needed. If it is flying away try decreasing the speed of the handpiece. Let me know if it works.

Another reason could be that the disc is from a brand and the mandril is of a different brand. Not all discs and mandrills are the same size. So that may be also a reason that is is not fully stable making it fly away upon use.

Polishing should be done with or without water?

دكتورة ممكن تشرحيلي هاذ التفصيل ما قدرت أتخيله Strip اذا دخلتو فال prox فمجرد انو دخل حتى و لو من أنعم جهة يكون روحلي contact point + أنو اذا من المفروض استعمله Above the contact point و هو عريض فاذا بدأت الحك سيتآكل contact point بسبب عرض Strip ?!

ما راح يروح ال contact على طول، هو زي المبرد يحتاج يروح ويرجع عشان يشيل. وقبل ما تدخليه ممكن نضع wedge يوسع بين الأسنان ويدخل ال strip. النقطة الأهم إنه ندخل ال strip تحت ال contact أبدا مو عند ال contact. في الفيديو شويه رفعتها عشان تشوفوا الحركة. لكن مهم جدا جدا تكون تحت ال contact فيشيل ال overhang gingivally وإذا فيه زايد proximally لكن كله تحت ال contact
